“My parents were both university professors, and when I was ten years old, they received news that they were going to be demoted.
In order not to implicate my elder brother who had just gotten married and me who was very young, my parents took the initiative to sever ties with us by publishing an announcement in the newspaper.
My eldest brother is eight years older than me and he has doted on me since I was a child.
But my sister-in-law regarded me as a thorn in her side. At first, she hid it very well and no one could tell that she was dissatisfied with me.
But when my parents were sent down to the countryside, and my eldest brother's work was affected because of them, and he had to work overtime until late at night, my eldest sister-in-law couldn't stand it anymore."
