Chapter 42 Profanity on the Exterior Wall

"What nonsense are you spouting! You rotten woman with a foul mouth!" Zheng Zhenhao said angrily, grabbing a broom and sweeping over. "That's Sister Xia's man."

"Hey! You dare hit me and see what happens!" The atavistic woman put her hands on her hips, pointed at Zheng Zhenhao, and grumbled in front of him, "Come and hit me then!"

"Alright, Guifang, stop talking nonsense and go back now." Aunt Zhao grabbed the woman's arm and tried to pull her away.

"Go back quickly. People are already upset, and you're just adding fuel to the fire. What are you doing making a scene on New Year's Eve!" someone chimed in.

"What did I do wrong? I just said a few truths, and the rural people in her shop wanted to beat me up!"

"Li Guifang, apologize to me first!" Xia Baozhu suddenly grabbed Li Guifang's arm.

"Ouch, it hurts, it hurts! Let go!" Li Guifang's arm hurt as if it were broken.

Others looked at Xia Baozhu with disdain as she exaggeratedly acted as if she were about to die just by grabbing her arm.

"Guifang, you should apologize right away."

"If you don't want people to know, then don't do it in the first place. What did I say wrong?" Li Guifang's face, contorted with pain, remained righteous and defiant.

"Apologize, and from now on, avoid me whenever you see me." Xia Baozhu added a little more force.

Those around felt uncomfortable hearing this. Apologizing earlier was fine, but going out of his way to avoid him was just too domineering.

Li Guifang was in excruciating pain, tears streaming down her face, her expression a truly remarkable sight.

At that moment, she realized how terrifying this woman was; she had almost broken her arm with ease, as easily as breaking a tree branch.

"I'm so sorry." Fearing her arm would really be broken, Li Guifang cried as she apologized.

"Apologize to my employees."

"sorry."

"Be careful what you say in the future. Don't spread rumors that aren't true. Watch your mouth. Do you understand what you did wrong?"

Xia Baozhu put down Li Guifang's arm, gently patted her shoulder, and her eyes were frighteningly calm.

"I was wrong. I'll watch my mouth from now on." After saying that, Li Guifang crossed her arms and quickly left, looking as if she were being chased by a ghost.
