Chapter 45 Three Childhood Friends

"Okay, no problem, we'll wait."

When Sun Xingyan woke up in the morning, he looked at the alarm clock next to him that was pointing to nine o'clock and suddenly remembered what Niu Yiming and the other two had said yesterday. Could they have really gone to the fried chicken shop?

He immediately put on his clothes and was about to leave, but he quickly stopped and sat back down on the sofa.

Those three aren't hungry wolves, so let them go. Why is he in such a hurry?

If he goes there now, wouldn't that be exactly what they want?

"Mom, where's my breakfast?" Sun Xingyan called out to his mother, who was watching TV.

"I ate it," Sun's mother said irritably.

Why didn't you leave some for me?

"Don't you know what time it is?"

"Then I'll go out to eat." Sun Xingyan stood up again and went to the bathroom to wash up.

"Didn't you say before that there wouldn't be any food for me?" Sun Xingyan sat down at the table helplessly, truly living up to the saying that food should be served to him.

“When I said there was no food, why didn’t you go to the kitchen to check? Even if there wasn’t any, why didn’t you cook it yourself? Your dad is right, I’ve spoiled you too much! You’re already in your mid-twenties, and I still have to bring the food to you before you’ll even pick up your chopsticks.”

"Mom, my dear mom, I was wrong, okay? I'll bring you two cups of pudding when I come back, how about that?"

Sun Xingyan, with a grin, tried to please his mother who was nagging him.

When Sun's mother heard that her son had brought her a gift, she smiled and said, "Pudding is too cold, two cups are too much. Bring me a milk pudding and a milk tea, and your dad's favorite pearl milk tea."

"Okay, I'll go right away." Sun Xingyan finished his porridge and the steamed bun in his hand in a few gulps and went out.
