"Stop thief!" Xia Baozhu shouted again, trying to get help from the people around her to catch the thief who got up and ran away, but no one moved.
Xia Baozhu had no choice but to get back on her bicycle and chase after the thief.
After watching the spectacle, people in the market turned their attention to the job recruitment stalls.
People lose things here every day, and there are even cases of robbery; it's gotten to the point where people are numb to it all.
Xia Baozhu pedaled her bicycle until sparks flew, and five minutes later she finally caught up with the thief who had run into the alley across the street.
Is this guy a speedster? He can run so fast.
"Is this never going to end?" The thief stopped, not panicking, but instead looking arrogantly at Xia Baozhu who was chasing after him.
"I haven't gotten any good stuff lately, so since you've brought it to my door, I won't be polite. Brother Bin, keep an eye on her, don't let her get away."
Upon hearing this, Xia Baozhu turned around and saw a young man in a blue cotton jacket and gray trousers appear at the entrance of the alley.
"Don't worry, she can't escape." The man called Brother Bin said as he walked into the alley, his eyes filled with a teasing and flippant look.
Xia Baozhu got off the car and placed the bicycle against the wall.
The thief, seeing that she wasn't scared and ran away screaming, but instead calmly arranged the car, felt a chill run down his spine, remembering the punch he had just received.
However, there were two of them, more than enough to deal with one woman.
Xia Baozhu stood still, waiting for the thief to sneakily approach and grab her. Then, she quickly kicked him, hitting him squarely in the chest.
A curved arc shot up over the wall, and the person flew to the base of the gray wall five meters away before stopping.
When Brother Bin realized things were going badly and they had run into a tough opponent, he turned and ran.
Unfortunately, he was too close, and before he could run two steps, Xia Baozhu caught up from behind and kicked him away. After landing, his face slid a meter across the ground.
Xia Baozhu grabbed the man called Brother Bin by the collar with one hand and placed him next to the thief.
"We were blind to your greatness, please let us go, we'll never dare to do it again." The thief wiped the blood flowing from his mouth, his voice pitiful and desperate.
Xia Baozhu ignored him and did more work and said less.
She tore their coats into strips, bound them tightly like dumplings, hid them in a secluded corner, and then left.
The reason she didn't go to the police station was that Xia Baozhu found it troublesome. She was busy looking for a job and had already wasted a lot of time. She didn't want to waste any more time going to the police station to make a statement.
Moreover, she went quite far, knocking out several of their teeth and injuring their calves. Compared to the two men, she seemed more like a terrifying abuser.
It might be easy for her to report the crime at the police station, but it could be difficult for her to get out.
Fortunately, she covered herself up well, and fortunately, there were no surveillance cameras at the time, making it difficult for anyone to find her.
She did a good deed.
