Chapter 4 New Soldiers

When passing the connection between carriages, there were men smoking on both sides of the aisle. Fan Hua simply covered her nose with her hand, held her breath and walked forward.

She hated the smell of cigarettes to begin with, and now that she was pregnant, she couldn't stand the smell at all. When she took a breath, the smell went into her nose and instantly went straight to the top of her head. She was so nauseated that she almost vomited out the three large bowls of noodles she had just eaten.

Fan Hua covered her mouth tightly and followed closely behind Mrs. Geng, wanting to escape from here as quickly as possible. She squeezed in with the crowd, and finally, on the verge of collapse, she walked to the seat that was originally supposed to belong to them with a pale face...

But unexpectedly, there were already two men sitting in their seats.

Fan Hua ignored them, propped her hands on the back of the chair, and tried to calm the churning in her stomach. She planned to speak later. She was really afraid that if she opened her mouth now, she would vomit out everything in her stomach.

"Comrades, you are sitting in the wrong place. These are our seats!" Geng Ailing said with some lack of confidence.

The older man on the seat glared at Geng Ailing with disdain in his eyes, "What do you mean your seat? Whoever sits down first gets it!"

The two men bought seats in the front carriage. Because they had a lot of stuff with them and were too lazy to walk so far, they just found a carriage closest to the station and sat down.

Geng Ailing got furious when she heard this, and she took out her train ticket to show the man.

"It's clearly written on the ticket that these two seats are ours."

The man saw that Geng Ailing and Fan Hua were both relatively young, and each one was thinner and smaller than the other. Especially Fan Hua, who hadn't said a word yet and looked sickly and timid, so he didn't take them seriously.

So he said in an even more arrogant tone: "So what? We will sit here today. Why don't you find a seat in another car while there are still vacancies on the train? Anyway, we are not moving!"

Mrs. Geng was so angry when she saw the bad attitude of these two people that she trembled, but she seldom went out and she didn't know what to do when faced with such scoundrels.

After standing against the chair for a while, Fan Hua finally suppressed the nausea in her stomach. She stood up straight, pulled Geng Ailing behind her, and examined the two men for a moment.

She saw that the two men had ordinary figures and looks, and they probably simply thought that they were lesbians and easy to bully. But she thought that they were on a train with so many people around, so they definitely wouldn't dare to do anything to her.

So Fan Hua put one hand on her waist and the other pointing at the two men, her eyes were full of oppression, and she started to scold them:

"Is there a nail growing out of your buttocks that's nailed to your seat? Or are you blind, stupid, or lame, and can't even find your seat?!"

"Look at your crooked eyes and crooked mouths. You don't look like good people! You probably bully people like this all the time. You bullied us two female comrades today just to be a hooligan. I think we should call the public security comrades to investigate you. Dangerous elements like you who threaten social civilization and stability should be arrested and put in jail. You have ideological problems and improper behavior. You bring shame to our great motherland!"

"You...you..." The two men were so angry that their faces turned black, but they couldn't get a word in.

Fan Hua did not give the two men a chance to retort and continued to scold: "What are you talking about? I tell you, you have to leave today, whether you want to or not! This is our seat, don't think that you can occupy our seat just because you are a man, otherwise we will go to the police to judge and see what the punishment is for bullying female comrades like this!"

"I just don't believe it. You guys dare to dominate the world in broad daylight."

Geng Ailing on the side was shocked. Listening to Fan Hua's retort that was like firecrackers, she was simply full of admiration!

She really couldn't imagine that the seemingly weak Fan Hua could actually have such a strong fighting ability! She was ready to find a seat in another carriage just now...

Many people around began to look over here after hearing Fan Hua's scolding. They were all a little bit incredulous to see such a pretty girl with such a sharp tongue.

The two men in the seats finally gave in to Fan Hua's spitting. They glared at Fan Hua and the other man fiercely, stood up angrily, picked up their luggage and left.

When Fan Hua saw the two of them leave, she angrily pulled Geng Ailing to sit down.

What Fan Hua and Mrs. Geng didn't know was how important it was for them to insist on not changing seats this time. The gears of fate had quietly turned from that moment on...

Mrs. Geng couldn't help but praise her, "Lihua, I didn't expect you to be so good at quarreling, and you don't even use a single dirty word when you curse!"

"Hey, I've seen a lot of people like this. They just bully the weak and fear the strong. We can't tolerate them!" Fan Hua said casually, as if she didn't care at all about the little episode just now.

"Have you seen a lot? Are you often bullied in the village? Your two brothers are so troublesome, is there anyone who dares to bully you?"

Only then did Fan Hua realize that she had accidentally lipped and became too complacent.

"What I mean is that I often see my two brothers bullying others, so I am familiar with the mentality of this kind of people."

Geng Ailing believed it to be true.

She looked at the bright and flamboyant Fan Hua in front of her, a little confused. She remembered that everyone in the village said that although Fan Lihua was very beautiful, she was stupid and cowardly. But after seeing her today, she was not stupid at all! It was completely the opposite!

Rumors are not to be believed! Rumors are not to be believed!

Just as Geng Ailing was wondering, there was a commotion in the carriage...

The two of them turned their heads and saw that it was a group of soldiers in green uniforms who had transferred onto the train. They were all wearing big red flowers and they looked like new recruits.

The recruits lined up neatly and entered the carriage in an orderly manner. As soon as they got on, those who had been sitting in other people's seats immediately stood up silently and went to find their original seats. Soon, more than a dozen seats across the aisle were vacated.

Fan Hua looked at these new recruits with great interest. They were all teenagers of eighteen or nineteen years old, full of vitality. Look at their clear and clean eyes. They were completely different from the teenagers who were addicted to mobile phones and online games forty years later.

Suddenly, Fan Hua's sight ran straight into a pair of deep eyes...

Across the aisle, the new recruit stared at her with a fiery and complicated look...

Although this new recruit was wearing the same clothes as everyone else, he stood out in the crowd. He was about 1.85 meters tall, with a straight and tall figure. Even the most ordinary green military uniform made him look very elegant.

Sharp eyebrows, bright eyes, a high nose bridge, sexy thin lips, a neatly cut haircut and a cold and sharp jawline make the facial features, which should be very straight and clear, have a kind of tough and unruly ruffian air.

Fan Hua was a little confused. Why was this handsome guy looking at her with such strange eyes? Could it be that he knew the original owner, Fan Lihua?

Thinking of this, Fan Hua touched Geng Ailing's arm and whispered in her ear, "Sister Geng, is the handsome recruit in front of us from our village? Have you seen him? I felt like he was looking at an acquaintance just now."

When Geng Ailing heard Fan Hua ask this, she also looked in the direction and saw that the new recruit had turned his head and was looking out the window, as if he was thinking about something. Fan Hua and Geng Ailing could only see his clear profile.

Geng Ailing studied him for a while before saying seriously, "He does look a little familiar, but I can't recognize him. Judging from his temperament, he shouldn't be from our village."

Geng Ailing paused for a moment and continued, "Besides, I am a young widow. I have to avoid men in the village for fear of being spread by outsiders. How can I know many men~"

After hearing what Mrs. Geng said, Fan Hua no longer worried about whether the new recruit knew her or not, but started to think about what Mrs. Geng said.

Would she, a person who avoids all men in the village, really take herself to do a business that involves selling her body?

So Fan Hua asked, "Sister Geng, tell me more about that job in the south! I want to know more about it."

"There's nothing to know. This is my first time doing this, so I don't know much."
