Chapter 122: Back (2/2)

Everyone in the room continued working, but no one paid attention to what they were doing. They all looked outside from time to time.

It was just a long day and there was no movement outside the door.

There were no traces of returning footsteps on the newly swept road.

It wasn't until it got completely dark that Tang Wan and Luo Ying helped Grandma Bai finish cooking. The three of them started eating and finally stopped looking outside so frequently.

Maybe it's the longing during the day that carries over to the night.

While the three of them were eating, there was finally a sound coming from the door which had been silent all this time.

Luo Ying was the first to react. He put down his bowl and ran straight to the door.

Tang Wan and Grandma Bai also stood up and went out.

It was Qin Zheng who came in. Seeing Luo Ying's expectant face, he was stunned for a moment. It was not until he saw Luo Ying repeatedly looking behind him that he said, "Dongzi went straight back to your house."

"He went home?" Luo Ying was no longer afraid of Qin Zheng. After saying this, she wanted to run outside.

Before she could go out, Dongzi suddenly appeared at the door.

Seeing Luo Ying's words, a smile appeared on his face.

"I knew you were here when I saw the lock on our door, so I came here without even entering the house." The smile on Dongzi's face was as honest as before.

Luo Ying rushed over and was caught by him.

"Why did you come back just now? I was scared to death." Luo Ying finally couldn't help feeling aggrieved when she saw Dongzi coming back.

Tang Wan found it funny.

When I looked up, I saw Qin Zheng staring at me with a smile in his eyes.

Tang Wan was originally very worried about Qin Zheng, but now she felt a little shy when Qin Zheng looked at her so blatantly.

Grandma Bai had gone back to the kitchen without me noticing.

I have to cook for the two people who just came back.

Qin Zheng pushed the car into the yard and parked it.

If Tang Wan didn't go over, he would come directly over.

Dongzi and Luo Ying were still clinging to each other over there and had no time to look over here.

Grandma Bai doesn't come here either.

Tang Wan looked around before looking up at Qin Zheng.

Qin Zheng seemed to be amused by her behavior.

Over there, we hugged each other sweetly.

It would have been fine if Tang Wan didn't come over to greet him, but now that he wanted to get closer, she actually looked around like a thief.

"What are you looking at?" Qin Zheng had probably been outside for a long time, and when he spoke, he had a ruffian air about him.

"You're back." Now that no one was paying attention here, Tang Wan looked at Qin Zheng openly.

"Well, I'm back. Did you miss me?" Qin Zheng not only moved closer, but also spoke very directly, which scared Tang Wan so much that she immediately stepped forward and covered his mouth.

It would be terrible if other people in the yard heard this.

Qin Zheng was not annoyed when Tang Wan covered his mouth with her hand. He even licked the palm of Tang Wan's hand with malicious intentions.

Feeling the heat from Qin Zheng's palm, Tang Wan felt as if she was scalded. She immediately withdrew her hand, silently accusing Qin Zheng of his behavior with her big eyes.

It was probably her reaction that brought a smile to Qin Zheng's face, which had been a little gloomy just now.

"Did you miss me?" Qin Zheng bent down and looked into Tang Wan's eyes, asking dissatisfiedly.
