Chapter 136: Not Our Child (2/2)

"I wanted to bring Fubao back before, otherwise it would not be easy for your aunt to take care of two children alone. But your aunt was unwilling to do so. Why is she willing to let you bring him back this time?" Grandma Bai was still quite curious about how they brought Fubao back.

"Tell her that when Wanwan returns home, bring Fubao with her. I often go home in winter, and Wanwan lives here, so your aunt won't worry. If you bring him back now, you won't be able to take care of him by yourself." Qin Zheng completely understood his aunt's thoughts.

"She always thinks I'm not in good health." Grandma Bai also knows her aunt's concerns.

"It's okay now. Fubao can stay here for a month. He misses you too. When we came back, he hugged my legs and said he wanted to come back with me to see grandma." Tang Wanyu.

"It's okay to let him run around here. Your aunt lives over there and she doesn't dare let him out to play in the yard. Her family also lived in that yard before. She's afraid that they might do something bad and harm a child." Grandma Bai sighed.

"So I brought him back and let him run around in the village. He also has someone to play with, so he can be more hardy. It's not good for a child to stay at home all day." Qin Zheng also had this idea in mind when he brought this kid here.

Although he could take care of that family, it would be too late if he waited until something happened to the child to solve the problem.

I would never gamble Fubao whether they have bad intentions or not.

Dongzi took Fubao out and didn't come back until dark.

When he came back, Fubao was holding a small toy given to him by someone, which was often played by children in the village.

Fubao must have been having a lot of fun playing, his face was flushed and his big round eyes were narrowed.

When he saw Grandma Bai, he happily struggled out of Dongzi's arms and showed her the things in his hand: "Grandma, this is my toy. My little brother gave it to me."

Fubao calls everyone older than himself "brother". He was probably referring to the children in the village whom he met when Dongzi took him out to play just now.

When those kids saw Qin Zheng and Dongzi, they all called them uncles. The tough ones now were promoted to a higher generation by Fubao.

"That's great. Did you have fun?" Grandma Bai bent down to look at him.

"Happy!" Fubao's voice was very loud, making several people in the room laugh.

"Okay, let your brother Dongzi take you out to play tomorrow." Grandma Bai pinched his little face.

Grandma Bai's actions made Luo Ying, who was standing beside her, extremely envious, and she also wanted to pinch her chubby little face.

"Fubao, do you want to go ice skating? Tomorrow your sister will take you ice skating. There are many children on the river." Luo Ying also squatted down and coaxed him softly.

"Hey! Fubao can skate!" Fubao answered as if he was shouting.

Luo Ying took the opportunity to pinch the soft face twice and couldn't let go.

"Okay, then tomorrow, after Fubao gets up and has breakfast, I'll take you ice skating." Luo Ying achieved her goal of pinching her face and was very satisfied.

Tang Wan and Qin Zheng sat aside and watched them take turns coaxing Fubao.

Tang Wan's eyes were always on Fubao. It was really too much to look at that little kid.

"Fubao is so cute." Tang Wan couldn't help but sigh to Qin Zheng beside her.

"Cute? Do you like kids like this?" Qin Zheng asked back.

"Of course, who doesn't like a kid like Fubao?" Tang Wan said as a matter of course.

He's not a naughty kid, who wouldn't like him?

"I don't like it." Qin Zheng's voice was neither loud nor soft, just enough for Tang Wan to hear.

"Why?" Tang Wan thought she had misheard and asked subconsciously.

"Because it's not our child." Qin Zheng's words rang in Tang Wan's ears.

Tang Wan was so shocked that she turned around and glared at him.

Qin Zheng had a smile on his face, as if what he just said was nothing surprising.

But the smile on his lips betrayed his satisfaction with Tang Wan's reaction.
