Chapter 14: Prescription (1/2)

Chapter 14: Prescription of Medicine

Grandma Bai brought a lot of medicine, a large number of bottles and jars.

"Go to the well in the backyard and fetch a basin of water." Qin Zheng had just put down the medicine when Grandma Bai immediately asked him to fetch water.

When Qin Zheng came back with the water, he also brought a towel and a flashlight.

"The candlelight is too dim, you can use this to help her." Qin Zheng handed the flashlight to Grandma Bai.

Grandma Bai took the flashlight, turned it on, and held it at the right angle. She carefully examined the injuries on Tang Wan's body, especially the wound on her face. She felt distressed and said, "I will find the best medicine for you and guarantee that you won't have any scars on your face."

Grandma Bai said this as she searched through the pile of medicine and blamed Qin Zheng.

"What happened?"

"This is Dongzi and I's fault. I'll tell you in detail when I get back. Please take care of her wound first. Dongzi is still waiting for me on the mountain. I'll go get her down." Qin Zheng's voice was dull.

"Go." Grandma Bai didn't care about Qin Zheng at the moment. She was cleaning Tang Wan's wound carefully.

After Qin Zheng left, only Tang Wan and Grandma Bai were left here.

"Sorry to bother grandma." Tang Wan's face was pale, and it was obvious that the medicine on the wound made it more painful.

"Bear with it. It will be a little painful when you first apply the medicine, but it won't leave scars after it heals. A girl's face is extremely important." Grandma Bai applied the medicine carefully.

In addition to her face, there were also blemishes on Tang Wan's arms and hands.

"What on earth happened? Why did she get so many injuries out of nowhere?" Grandma Bai felt a little distressed when she saw the wound on Tang Wan's palm.

Half of her palm was covered in blood, but the girl didn't say a word.

"I encountered a wild boar. I was hiding and didn't know where I bumped into it." Tang Wan forced a smile.

She felt Grandma Bai's concern and didn't want to make her worry too much.

"What!" Grandma Bai immediately lost her composure when she heard that she had encountered a wild boar. "Did the wild boar hit you? Does it hurt? A wild boar is not a small animal. It might break your bones. Take off your clothes and let me see."

Grandma Bai was extremely nervous. If a wild boar hit someone, it could break their bones. Seeing how miserable Tang Wan looked, she might have been hit.

"No, I was just dragged by a wild boar and my arm hurts a little."

"I'll check on you later and massage you with medicated oil." Grandma Bai was still worried after hearing what Tang Wan said. The wild boar was so strong that it could knock people away, so it would not be a small matter to just hit them.

It was not until Tang Wan's surface wounds were treated and Grandma Bai checked her arm to make sure that the bones were not affected that she felt relieved.

"Your foot is sprained too badly. You will probably be unable to walk for several days. You should rest well these few days." Grandma Bai said, pointing at Tang Wan's red and swollen ankle.

"Well, then I won't go to bed these few days." Tang Wan answered obediently.

Seeing Tang Wan being so obedient, Grandma Bai felt a little better.

This girl doesn't show off at all, which is good.

Tang Wan looked at her feet that were wrapped like dumplings, feeling a little worried and a little happy.

The good thing is that she has a legitimate reason not to go to school.
