Chapter 19 Rumors (1/2)

Chapter 19 Rumors

The fact that Tang Wan was living in Qin Zheng's house soon spread throughout the village.

But what surprised Tang Wan was that no rumors spread.

She found out about this when she ran into Cuicui and Luo Yingshi while returning to the educated youth camp to get some clean clothes.

Originally, Grandma Bai wanted to go to the educated youth point with Tang Wan to get some things, but Tang Wan refused. Some of her things were in the space, and of course it was not convenient for her to take them out in front of Grandma Bai.

Fortunately, her foot injury has almost healed and she can walk easily with crutches.

Grandma Bai was also a person who knew how to respect other people's privacy, so she agreed to let Tang Wan go back by herself and then pick her up later.

It was on the way back to Tang that Tang Wan met these two girls.

Luo Ying and the others were supposed to be cutting grass for the pigs, but when they saw Tang Wan walking alone on the road with a cane, they all came over to help.

"Sister Tang Wan, are you really living in Grandma Bai's house?" Luo Ying looked in the direction she came from, with a complicated expression, as if he felt sorry for Tang Wan.

"You know it too." Tang Wan was not very surprised. Both Zhong Ling and Sister Yanhong had come to see her. This was not a secret anymore, and there were no secrets in the countryside.

"Yes, everyone in the village knows that you are living in Grandma Bai's house now." Luo Ying nodded affirmatively and told her everything he knew.

"They all said that you must have saved Grandma Bai's life, otherwise Grandma Bai wouldn't be willing to let you live in her house." Cuicui added.

Tang Wan was a little surprised. She had no idea the story had spread like this. Actually, she was the one who was rescued.

"Does everyone think so?" Tang Wanwan asked.

"Yes, otherwise why would Grandma Bai let you live in her house?" Luo Ying said this with certainty.

A blue brick and tile house, even the village chief’s house is not as good as this one.

There is no house in the whole village that is better than Grandma Bai’s.

Who wouldn’t want to live in such a nice house? If Tang Wan hadn’t saved Grandma Bai, how could Grandma Bai be so easy to talk to?

"But..." Luo Ying hesitated, "Did you run into Qin Zheng when you were living with Grandma Bai? Was he scary?"

Luo Ying's tone was full of questions. Cuicui looked at Tang Wan curiously when she heard her question.

The two of them have been worried about this issue ever since they heard that Tang Wan was living at Grandma Bai's house.

Others don't know, but they know that when they were looking for wild vegetables that morning and Grandma Bai was staying with Tang Wan, Qin Zheng was there. Just one look at him was enough to make them feel scared. They wondered if Tang Wan would be beaten by Qin Zheng if she stayed there.

"No, he doesn't seem to be at home these days." Tang Wan could certainly see their worry.

Qin Zheng was indeed not at home these days. Except for the day he came back, no one knew what he was busy with in the following days. He did not go home. There were only her and Grandma Bai at home.

"That's good. Otherwise, it would be too scary if he hit you." Luo Ying patted his chest seriously.

Tang Wan was amused by her words and laughed: "Why would he hit me for no reason?"

"That's right, you saved Grandma Bai, so he shouldn't hit you."

Luo Ying continued, "He was very good to Grandma Bai. When he came back and built the house, the first thing he did was to take Grandma Bai in to live with him."

Luo Ying and Cuicui felt relieved when they heard Tang Wan say this. They were shocked when they first heard the news, fearing that something had happened because they had left Tang Wan alone there that day.

With the two of them accompanying me, I soon arrived at the educated youth point.

"You two are going up the mountain to collect grass for the pigs, right? Leave me alone. I'll pack my things and Grandma Bai will come to pick me up later. You guys should hurry back to the mountain." Tang Wan said as she looked at the two people carrying the backpacks.

You can also get points for picking grass for pigs.

"Can you do it by yourself?" Cui Cui looked a little worried.
