Chapter 2: Victimization (1/2)

Chapter 㟧Killed

After Tang Wan left, the three female educated youth in the room looked at each other. Li Qing felt even more embarrassed and started banging around.

Tang Wan didn't care about their reactions.

She did not see Zhong Ling among the educated youth who had just returned. Recalling the plot in the book, the current Zhong Ling should have saved a little boy who fell into the water with the memory of her previous life. In the previous life, this little boy was not saved by Zhong Ling.

However, Zhong Ling, who had just returned from her childhood, was waiting there early. By virtue of her relationship with the little boy, she got in touch with the boy's parents who worked in the supply and marketing department, which also provided convenient conditions for her to obtain supplies in and out of the black market.

Tang Wan had no intention of getting involved in Zhong Ling's affairs.

But the pendant space that finally fell into Zhong Ling's hands made Tang Wan change her mind.

Associating the plot in the book with this incident, Tang Wan felt that Zhong Ling had something to do with the fact that her mistress finally married the vagrant in the village.

If this is true, Tang Wan will never let such a thing happen again after occupying this body, and will definitely avenge her master.

Thinking of this, Tang Wan walked towards the river behind the village.

The Hongqi Brigade is located near mountains and rivers. There is a small river in the village. Villagers usually go to that river to wash clothes and other things.

The river behind the village is quite deep and far away from the village, so few people go there.

When Tang Wan was still far away, she had already seen two flapping figures in the river. Before she could get closer, she saw Zhong Ling jump into the water and swim hard towards the two people who fell into the water.

Tang Wan paused, vaguely remembering that the book seemed to mention that a little girl was not rescued at that time. This was why the boy's parents were grateful to Zhong Ling. If it weren't for Zhong Ling, the boy would have died like the girl.

Zhong Ling was dragging the little boy to the shore, but for some reason the little girl suddenly went a long way to the middle of the river.

Without thinking too much, Tang Wan went into the water directly and her eyes accidentally met with Zhong Ling who was swimming towards the shore. Zhong Ling did not expect to see Tang Wan here, and shock and panic flashed in her eyes.

By the time Tang Wan swam to the middle of the river, the little girl's struggle had become weak.

But when he saw Tang Wan, it was like he saw a savior. He burst out with strength and wrapped his limbs tightly around Tang Wan.

Anyone who has rescued someone from falling into the water should know that the most frightening thing is the rescued person struggling wildly, and this little girl is just like that.

Fortunately, Tang Wan's swimming skills were good and the little girl didn't have much strength left, so she successfully swam the little girl to the shore.

But the little girl's struggle still delayed her for a while. Tang Wan clearly felt that she was running out of strength, so she did not dare to delay and swam towards the shore.

At this time, Zhong Ling had already placed the little boy on the shore.

"Tang Zhiqing, let me help you." Zhong Ling said as she went into the water towards Tang Wan.

Zhong Ling came to the person, took the little girl and turned to swim towards the shore. Just when Tang Wan breathed a sigh of relief, she suddenly felt a pain in her waist. When Zhong Ling swam back, she kicked her on the waist, and she was even kicked back a distance, which made her breathe a sigh of relief.

Zhong Ling seemed not to notice anything and swam towards the shore with the little girl.

After Zhong Ling got ashore, she looked at Tang Wan in the river and said, "She's unconscious. I'll take her to the village to call for help. Come up quickly."

After saying that, Zhong Ling took the two children on the shore and left.

Tang Wan understood instantly. She realized that she was exhausted and that this person wanted to kill her.

But Tang Wan had no time to think about it now. She held her breath and swam towards the shore.
