Chapter 21 Taking a Place (2/2)

He didn't know when this struggle would disappear, and what would happen then.

In this state of getting along, the day of showing the movie soon came.

When Tang Wan woke up in the morning, it was already very lively outside.

The place where we watched the movie was in an open space on the west side of the village. The equipment had not arrived yet, but there were already a lot of people there, all of whom brought stools to reserve seats.

Most of them are from other villages, and some even come in the middle of the night to reserve a spot.

At this moment, the whole village was filled with joy. Even Qin Zheng's home, which was far away from the village, could feel the lively atmosphere.

When Tang Wan woke up, Grandma Yi was frying soybeans in the kitchen. The unique aroma of soybeans made her mouth water.

"Grandma, why are you frying the soybeans?" Tang Wan knew that the soybeans were all kept for seeds.

"Save it for you to eat while watching the movie tonight." Grandma Qi was also very happy today.

"Where's Brother Qin Zheng?" Tang Wan was eating the breakfast that her grandmother had already prepared. The portion next to it was obviously left for Qin Zheng.

"Dongzi came to see him before daybreak. He must have already taken his place."

"So early?" Tang Wan couldn't help but be surprised. The sun rises early in summer, but she didn't expect Dongzi to come even earlier.

"Yes, some came last night and are waiting there." Grandma knew that Tang Wan definitely didn't know about this, so she added a few words, "People from several villages here will come to take their place. Some from the other side of the mountain will rush over in the middle of the night to climb the mountain road. They came here at dawn yesterday."

"The movie will be shown in the evening..." Tang Wan murmured.

"It happens only once or twice a year at most. Several villagers want to see it." As Grandma Yi was speaking, she had already chopped the soybeans and placed them on a large grate to dry.

While the two were talking, Qin Zheng also came over.

"Where's Dongzi?" Grandma looked behind him.

"It depends on the seat. He arrived late, so he took up a long bench. He was afraid that someone else would take it, so he just stood there and watched." Qin Zheng rarely explained so much, mainly because he smiled a little when he thought of Dongzi's annoyed expression.

"We came so early and there's still no seat?" Grandma Qi was a little surprised.

"Yes, this one was given up by someone from the same village as Dongzi. The nearby families have already taken the front seats." Qin Zheng put down the stool in his hand and brought him over. If there was no seat, he had to bring him here.

Tang Wan watched his movements and seriously suspected that he had no intention of occupying the front position.

Otherwise, whenever he stands there, someone has to give up their seat.

"It's all right, as long as there's a place to stand. Have some breakfast and bring some back for Dongzi." As Grandma Xiao spoke, she had already put two steamed buns in oil paper.

"Okay." Qin Zheng washed his hands and came over.

Qin Zheng finished eating quickly, took the food he brought for Dongzi, and rode away on his bike.

Tang Wan was not idle either. Her legs were completely worn out, and it was not appropriate for her to live here anymore. She took advantage of this time today to pack up her things and send them to the educated youth center, where she could stay directly at night.

After packing up her things and heading to the educated youth point, Tang Wan ran into Zhong Ling and others on the way.

Zhong Ling was obviously dressed up today, and her face was filled with joy. When she saw Tang Wan, her smile faded a few inches.

"Are you moving here?" Sister Yanhong greeted Tang Wan first.

"Well, my foot injury has healed, and it's time to move out." Tang Wanyu said.
