Chapter 236 Meeting My Uncle (2/2)

Tang Wan and Luo Ying had just fallen asleep for a short while when they heard a noisy sound.

Tang Wan woke up first, but before she could move, Luo Ying also woke up.

Neither of them was sleeping soundly, and they both sat up when they heard the noise.

"Are they both back?" Luo Ying asked in a trembling voice.

Tang Wan didn't say anything, just got up and put on her shoes.

They slept upstairs, and the sounds from downstairs were still muffled and I couldn't make out what they were saying.

"Go down and take a look first."

When Tang Wan and Luo Ying went downstairs, they saw two people talking to Grandma Qi in the living room.

"Dongzi!" Luo Ying cheered and ran downstairs.

Dongzi saw Luo Ying coming down and came over with a happy look on his face.

Although Qin Zheng didn't say anything, a smile was already on his face, and he began to walk towards Tang Wan.

But when Luo Ying was about to pick up Dong Zi, he suddenly stopped, and Tang Wan also slowed down.

"How long have you taken a shower?" Luo Ying pushed Dongzi in disdain.

Only then did Qin Zheng and Dongzi smell themselves separately, and there was indeed a smell.

It wasn't obvious when they were running around outside, but now in this clean and tidy environment at home, the two of them, with their scruffy beards, looked like homeless people, and really looked a bit out of place.

"You two just came back, so please clean up first, otherwise your son won't recognize you when he sees you later." Grandma Qi also said from behind.

They haven't shaved for a month, and their current appearance is really hard to describe.

Qin Zheng and Dongzi both stopped and looked at each other, and both saw helplessness in each other's eyes.

"Hey, let's go take a shower first. Dongzi, come and get me some clothes to wear." Qin Zheng was obviously more comfortable at home and asked Dongzi to go upstairs to get some clothes.

Grandma quickly boiled water for them to take a bath. After more than an hour of hard work, she finally got them to clean up and have some time to sit down and talk.

"How come you two little bastards were gone for such a long time this time without even saying a word?" Grandma Qi spoke first.

Hearing Grandma Qi even call him "little bastard", you can tell how worried she has been during this period, but she just held back and didn't say it out loud.

"It's not that I encountered a big deal and wasted time. Don't be angry, grandma. I made a lot of money on this trip and I will buy you flowers to wear." Dongzi tried to get away with it with grandma with a playful smile.

"Don't give me that shit. Who asked you to buy flowers? Just give them to your wife." Grandma Yi slapped Dongzi in the face.

"There's a reason why we came back late. Grandma, guess who we met on this trip?"

Seeing that Dongzi's rhetoric skills were not good enough, Qin Zheng began to use other words to divert the attention.

Sure enough, his words did have an effect.

"Who?" Grandma looked at Qin Zheng and asked.

"My uncle." Qin Zheng mentioned a person that no one expected.

"Didn't you go to the south? How did you meet him?" Luo Ying was a little surprised.

Qin Zheng looked at Tang Wan, and Tang Wan immediately remembered.

When Chaochao and Yangyang were one year old, their uncle told Qin Zheng when he visited their home that there was a good opportunity in the south.

However, at that time, there was only news of my uncle, and he had been unable to leave for several days, so there was no follow-up. Tang Wan had brought them to Beijing and had sent a letter back. We hadn't been in touch since then, and I didn't know how my uncle was doing now.

Qin Zheng didn't expect to meet him on this trip to the south.
