Chapter 12: Dreaming Back to Before the Book

In the dream, Nanqiao seemed to have returned to the modern era.

In her room, the aunt saw the letter she left behind and was in great pain in the arms of her uncle.

My aunt didn't seem to believe what was written in the letter and even called the police. However, the police investigated for a long time and still had no clues. It seemed that the person in the letter had really disappeared into the book.

In order to find her, my aunt and her husband gradually shifted their focus to China. Even after many years, they still did not give up.

My aunt didn't close the case, the police are still investigating

But there is still no clue

The scene changed, and the aunt seemed to be pregnant. She gave birth to a son and a daughter in the hospital. Everything went smoothly, but she still couldn't find her.

Time flies in the dream. Nanqiao watched his aunt's children grow from one to five, ten, eighteen, and even start their own families, get married and have children.

I don't know how long it took, but Nanqiao saw his gray-haired aunt lying on the hospital bed again. Her smile was still warm and gentle. Even though her face was old, she was still kind and gentle.

Nanqiao watched his aunt pass away, and in his dream, tears fell beside his aunt.

The scene changed, and Nanqiao saw his aunt in her youth in a white world again.

But this time, my aunt seemed to be able to see her

"Qiaoqiao, are you Qiaoqiao?" the aunt asked in disbelief.

"Aunt, it's me" Nanqiao choked up

"Qiaoqiao, my Qiaoqiao, auntie has been looking for you for a long time, but I can't find you." Auntie cried and hugged Nanqiao tightly.

"Aunt, I left you a letter, it's true!"

"Faith? Are you talking about the faith in your dream? It turns out that it was real..."

"Qiaoqiao, how are you doing?"

"Well, the parents here look exactly like mine, maybe it's fate."

But before Nanqiao could finish speaking, I heard my aunt say

"Qiaoqiao, it's time for me to go. I feel relieved to know that you are safe."

"Aunt~"

As soon as the aunt finished saying this, her figure gradually disappeared. Nanqiao was heartbroken and wanted to reach out and grab the aunt.

But some things cannot be changed by human power.

Looking at my aunt who had passed away on the hospital bed, I actually smiled.

Nanqiao felt much more at ease. Everyone will die eventually. My aunt had been kind all her life. She must have gone to a better world.
