"Okay, then you pack your things this afternoon and we'll take the clothes over tomorrow. We'll try to buy all the bigger items in one day, otherwise you won't be able to carry them when I leave the day after tomorrow."
"Okay, but there's nothing to buy. A set of bedding, two basins and a kettle should be enough. I didn't notice what was in the yard last time."
"You'll know when you go there tomorrow," Nanzhou said.
"Qiaoqiao, I'll help you clean up. I won't be able to help you clean up in town tomorrow. It's not easy to ask for leave too often from the village chief."

"I was wondering if you would come over tonight."

"Glad you're here. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to tell you. I'm going to town tomorrow morning. Bring some clothes with you and leave the rest of your stuff here."
"Then, who will accompany you to town tomorrow?" Sheng Yanchuan thought for a moment and asked.
"My brother is leaving the day after tomorrow morning, so he wants to help me pack all this before he leaves."
Sheng Yanchuan nodded and said, "Then I'll come to see you the day after tomorrow afternoon, and I'll send it to you if you need anything then."
"Well, aren't you coming in?" Nanqiao asked Sheng Yanchuan who was standing firmly outside. In the past, he would have come in early without her asking, but today he was so honest, which was really not like his style.
"Let me hold you for a while, I won't go in, your brother is still here," Sheng Yanchuan said, stretching out his arms for a hug
"So you are afraid of my elder brother. Why have you been so honest these days?" Nanqiao heard Sheng Yanchuan say this, smiled and hugged him, teasing him.
"How could that be? I'm not afraid, but you just don't want them to know." Sheng Yanchuan's eyes were a little vague, and he said unnaturally.

"How could it be?" Sheng Yanchuan said as he dropped a kiss on the South Bridge.
"Okay, you should go to bed early. I will come to see you the day after tomorrow afternoon."
Nanqiao nodded, and reluctantly watched Sheng Yanchuan close the window before locking it and going to sleep.
The next morning, Nanqiao went to the town with Nanzhou, carrying only a bag of clothes.
"Nan Zhiqing, are you going to town?" a passing aunt asked gossipingly.
"Well, some modern clothes are used."
"Hey, Nan Zhiqing, tell us, is there anyone in your family who is an important official? Otherwise, how could you be a leader in the town? Or is it that this... Secretary So-and-so came in person? Tell us, I promise not to tell anyone else." Auntie approached Nanqiao and whispered, while secretly looking around, with a gleam in her eyes.

Nanqiao then pulled Nanzhou away. If someone didn't talk to her nicely, why should she save face for them?
Arriving in the town, Nanzhou took Nanqiao to the steel plant first, but was stopped by the security guard at the gate.
"Little girl, who are you looking for?" the old man asked, smoking a pipe.
"Uncle, my last name is Nan, I'm looking for Director Bai Kaixuan." Nan Qiao walked towards the gatehouse.
"Are you looking for Director Bai for a job? Wait a minute, I'll call him for you." Without waiting for Nanqiao to respond, the doorman picked up the phone and dialed
After a while, a figure trotted out of the steel plant's office building.
"Sister Nanqiao, you're here," Bai Kaixuan said, nodding towards Nanzhou, and then asked, "Is it settled?"
