Volume 1 Chapter 193 Abandoned Warehouse, Meeting Chi Yan
Weilai didn't understand why Chi Yan wanted to arrest her. She whimpered for a long time but Chi Yan didn't respond.
"You'll know why I want to arrest you in a moment. Just be quiet for a while, okay?" Chi Yan's words were filled with impatience.
Fearing that Chi Yan would hurt him, Wei Lai kept his mouth shut and only looked at Chi Yan carefully.
Time passed by minute by minute, and Chi Yan kept looking at his watch.
Seeing Chi Yan like this, Wei Lai also realized that Chi Yan was probably waiting for someone, and she also guessed who Chi Yan was waiting for.
Weilai was anxious, but there was nothing she could do now. She could only wait with Chi Yan.
Finally, a familiar voice sounded outside.
After hearing that voice, Weilai's heart tightened, and Chi Yan finally smiled, but that smile was creepy no matter how Weilai looked at it.
Chi Yan opened the door and walked out. It was dark outside the door. Jing Mo used his phone to light up the road ahead. Suddenly, he saw a door opened and a person walked out. Jing Mo scanned the phone and saw Chi Yan's familiar face.
Jing Mo glared at Chi Yan and walked past him into the house. Chi Yan followed Jing Mo into the house with a calm expression and then closed and locked the door.
As soon as Jing Mo entered the room, she saw Wei Lai huddled in the corner, tied up and gagged. She rushed over
"Weilai, are you okay?" Jing Mo said as he carefully tore off the tape on Weilai's mouth.
Just when Jing Mo was about to untie Wei Lai, Chi Yan appeared behind Jing Mo. Jing Mo seemed to sense something and immediately turned his head.
"Chi Yan, what on earth do you want to do? Why did you kidnap Wei Lai?" Jing Mo stared at Chi Yan and said unhappily.
Chi Yan raised his chin towards Jing Mo and asked, "Let's talk?"
Hearing this, Jing Mo looked suspicious. What else could she and Chi Yan talk about? But when he thought about Wei Lai being tied up by Chi Yan, Jing Mo nodded in agreement.
"Okay, wait till I untie her," Jing Mo said, turning around and continuing to untie Wei Lai.
Chi Yan just took a look and turned around to sit on the sofa, staring at Jing Mo
Soon Jing Mo untied all the restraints on Wei Lai.
"Are you okay?" Jing Mo looked at Wei Lai with concern.
"It's okay." Weilai shook her head. She was just a little frightened and there was nothing serious.
Jing Mo supported Wei Lai and came to Chi Yan
"I'm here, let her go," Jing Mo said condescendingly to Chi Yan
Chi Yan just glanced at Wei Lai coldly.
"Let her come with me. I have something to ask her." Chi Yan said and took out his cell phone.
Jing Mo and Wei Lai didn't understand what Chi Yan wanted to ask Wei Lai, but Jing Mo still pulled Wei Lai to sit down. She believed that Chi Yan would not do anything to them.
Chi Yan opened his phone and suddenly heard Weilai's voice. The content of the voice sounded very familiar. It was clearly what Weilai said when he talked to Jing Mo on the phone before. Jing Mo and Weilai were surprised for a moment. How could he have this recording?
Just when the two were confused, the mobile phone recording played what Wei Lai said: Chi Yan refuses to believe that you don't love him anymore, how can I explain this? Are you saying that the soul in Jing Mo's body now is not Jing Mo, but another person's soul, so I don't love you anymore? I guess Chi Yan would think I'm a fool if I said that.
Hearing this, Jing Mo and Wei Lai widened their eyes at the same time. No, how could Chi Yan have a recording of this sentence?
Chi Yan sat opposite them and stared at them intently, not missing a single expression on their faces.
After the recording was finished, Chi Yan put away his phone.
"Tell me, what does this sentence mean?" Chi Yan raised his chin towards the two of them.
Jing Mo was fine, he was just surprised for a moment before he regained his composure, but Wei Lai's face turned pale and his body trembled uncontrollably.
"Where did you get the recording?" Jing Mo asked with a frown.
"Don't worry about where I came from, just tell me what this sentence means," Chi Yan said coldly
Weilai opened his mouth but didn't say anything. His eyes fell on Jing Mo.
"I was joking with her, and you couldn't tell?" Jing Mo crossed his arms, with no abnormal expression on his face.
Wei Lai's eyes lit up when he heard this. "Yes, yes, Jing Mo and I were just joking," Wei Lai said hurriedly.
Chi Yan's eyes moved back and forth between the two of them.
"Don't lie to me, think it over first." Chi Yan's eyes flashed with a cold light.
Jing Mo sneered when he heard this.
"What else? Do you think this kind of thing really exists? Do you believe it?" Jing Mo spoke slowly.
"I didn't believe it before, but now? I do," Chi Yan said bluntly.
Chi Yan's words made Jing Mo frown fiercely.
"You just can't accept the fact that I don't love you, so you think this weird thing is true. In fact, it's just your fantasy." Jing Mo sighed helplessly.
Jing Mo's words were undoubtedly what Chi Yan didn't want to hear the most. His face changed drastically and he flew into a rage.
Chi Yan stood up and kicked the coffee table in front of him hard.
"Bang!" The coffee table made a sharp explosion sound.
Jing Mo and Wei Lai were startled, especially Wei Lai, whose already pale face turned even paler.
Jing Mo reacted and blocked Wei Lai behind him
"Chi Yan, what are you crazy about?" Jing Mo frowned and looked at Chi Yan.
Chi Yan's chest was heaving violently, his eyes fixed on Jing Mo.
"Who are you? Where did you hide Jing Mo?"
Facing Chi Yan's gaze, Jing Mo's heart was in turmoil, but she didn't show it on her face. She just burst out laughing.
"Chi Yan, are you sick? If I'm not Jing Mo, who else could I be?" Jing Mo looked at Chi Yan sarcastically.
"And have you forgotten the secret between you and me that I told you before? That's something only the two of us know. If I wasn't Jing Mo, how would I know it so clearly?" Jing Mo had the original owner's memory, so he was very confident when he said this.
Wei Lai was slightly surprised when he heard Jing Mo's words, but he didn't say anything.
Chi Yan's heart was instantly stirred by Jing Mo's words.
Yes, if she is not Jing Mo, how could she have Jing Mo’s memories? But if she was Jing Mo, how could her personality change so drastically and be so different from before?
"So you're just overthinking it. I'm really Jing Mo." Jing Mo pretended to sigh helplessly.
But Chi Yan is not so easy to fool now. His eyes are moving back and forth between Jing Mo and Wei Lai. Just when Jing Mo thinks Chi Yan is about to give up, Chi Yan walks directly in front of Jing Mo and Wei Lai.
"What are you doing?" Jing Mo saw that Chi Yan looked a little strange. She stared at him warily.

Chi Yan pulled Wei Lai over and held a dagger against Wei Lai's neck.
