When I woke up, before I opened my eyes, I heard a "dong dong" sound and a smell of medicine permeated my nostrils.
Lu Yunxi slowly opened her eyes and saw Shen San sitting not far away, quietly guarding her, while the doctor stood by the counter, pounding the medicine pestle in his hand.
"Master, are you awake?" Shen San came up to her in surprise and joy when he saw her wake up.
She nodded: "I haven't gone to work at the restaurant today..."
"Don't worry, I've already asked for leave!" He tucked the corner of the quilt for her. "Do you want something to eat? I'll go get it!"
Lu Yunxi slowly sat up, refusing Shen San's support, her voice still a little weak: "I don't want to eat yet."
