Chapter 72 Going to Sea

"Thank you so much. If it weren't for you, my husband might have..." Lu Zhuniang held Lu Yunxi's hand tightly, tears in her eyes.

"Don't be so polite." Lu Yunxi shook his head and chuckled.

Lu Zhuniang sniffed, wiped her tears, and suddenly thought of something. She wiped her hands on her coarse cloth skirt and ran into the house.

Not long after, she came out carefully holding a box.

"This is a gift for you, to thank you for your help," she handed them the box. "I don't have anything else good, but this is the reward I got when I planted flowers for someone. Take it."

The man, whose legs and feet were bandaged like a giant dumpling, nodded in agreement. "Indeed, you can take it! There used to be no wolves in our mountains. They probably just came here recently. You helped us defeat the wolves, saving both of our lives. We don't need to worry about any danger from now on."

After saying this, he suddenly thought of what he had obtained before, and bent down to pull out the large box under the stool.

"Didn't you say you wanted to go out to sea? I once got a boat by chance, but I didn't think it was useful, so I put it away. Since you need it, you can use it."

Master Lu Yunxi and his disciple were both delighted.

If there were a boat, that would certainly be better than jumping into the sea all the time! They said they could swim to the other side of the continent, but after going there themselves, they knew they didn't swim at all. As soon as they entered the sea, they were swept away by an inexplicable whirlpool.

The two of them happily accepted the package, which looked a bit strange.

"Our boat can be folded up. When you need it, you can just unfold it at the beach. But the boat is a bit small."

"It doesn't matter if it's small, as long as it works."

Master Lu Yunxi and his apprentice said goodbye to the couple, and then asked someone for the direction of the Water Continent.

On the way, she opened the box that Lu Zhuniang had given her.

"This..." Shen San looked at the things in the box and felt a headache. Why did everyone think that he and his master were husband and wife?! They clearly had a pure master-disciple relationship!

Lu Yunxi finally took out the couple's rings and gave the larger one to Shen San: "Apprentice, take it. This ring is very good...very beautiful."

Originally, when she saw that it was a couple's ring, she wanted to stuff it into the corner of the space, but when she found out that the ring was of orange quality, she didn't do that!

Orange items are almost the best of the best! Gold items are even harder to come by!

Not to mention just a couple ring, even if it was an ugly piece of equipment like shit, she would be willing to wear it.

Shen San's hand, which was about to refuse, also paused when he saw the glittering orange halo.

They each took a ring that suited them and put it on their finger.

After putting on the ring, Lu Yunxi cleared his throat and said seriously, "Next we are going to the Water Continent and ask someone in the town."

"Yeah." Shen San nodded, his eyes darting around, as if trying to figure out which direction to go.

*

"What? You actually have a boat?" The old man's eyes widened in shock. "Then why are you going back to the small island?! No matter which continent you are from, you have to swim to get to the small island. But if you are just sailing between other continents, you can pass with a boat."

"But I heard that to go to any continent, you have to pass through a small island?" Lu Yunxi was stunned.

"That's for ordinary people. It's different for those of you who have boats!" The old man shook his head. "There aren't many people in the entire continent who have boats. That guy probably didn't expect that!"

"We are going to the Water Continent. Do you know which direction to go?"

"Water Continent? I don't know where the Water Continent is. I only know that if I go west, I'll find the Desert Continent, and if I go east, I'll find the Ice Continent. Just pick a direction and follow it, and you'll find the Water Continent eventually."

Lu Yunxi and Shen San came to the beach and opened the folding boat given by Lu Zhuniang's husband.

It is said to be a ship, but in fact it looks more like a flower. It is pink in color and very beautiful, standing quietly on the sea.

but--

This flower boat is a bit troublesome, it is really a bit small.

It's spacious enough for one person to stand, but for two people, there's no place to sit, so they can only stand close together.

Lu Yunxi and Shen San looked at the small boat and fell into deep thought.

The two of them comforted themselves in their hearts: Anyway, the other party is not from the same world as us/the master is just a piece of data!

Thinking of this, both the master and the disciple relaxed.

"This boat seems to... actually have oars? Are we supposed to row across?"

"Which direction should we go? To the desert continent, or to the ice continent?"

The two looked at each other and understood instantly.

It seems that the other party also doesn't like the feeling of being swept into the sea.

"Let's go to the ice continent? The desert doesn't sound like there is water." Shen San suggested.

"I think so too," Lu Yunxi nodded in agreement and put the oar into his hand. "Let's get started."

Shen San glanced at the green oar in his hand that looked like a plant and fell silent.

He began rowing silently.

Lu Yunxi stood beside him and felt a heat sticking to her.

She moved uneasily, but when she saw him rowing with all his heart and sweating profusely, she suddenly calmed down.

Humph! What was she so worried about? Her apprentice thought she was just an NPC! To her, living in a holographic world, wasn't her apprentice also a virtual person?!
