The man in animal skin, Agu, the black-robed mage, and the woman in silver armor looked at each other, unsure how to respond.
They had seen more "gods" than mortal emperors, and each one harbored ulterior motives and was ruthless.
A real god who would protect mortals? This is even more unbelievable than their ability to travel back home.
Li Xuan stared blankly at his junior sister for a long while before nodding: "Since it's what you said, junior sister, I naturally believe you!"
He changed the subject, looking somewhat tired: "But right now, the most important thing is that plague god."
"That plague god has already regarded this South China Sea archipelago as its own territory. It has been secretly manipulating countless demons and evil spirits to attack our island protection formation day and night, intending to completely pollute this place and turn it into its divine kingdom!"

"I advise you to surrender soon!" shouted a son dressed in a bright red robe beside the God of Plague, his voice shrill.
"My father is the future god who will rule the world. Those who obey will prosper, and those who defy will perish! I'm giving you one last chance. Activate the formation now and offer your loyalty, or we will turn this place into a death trap!"
"Don't even think about it!" Li Xuan roared, his eyes bloodshot. "You bunch of evil spirits who harm people, even if we die, we will never submit to you!"
On the island, the surviving people rushed out of their houses. Although their faces were full of fear, they still raised their heads and roared with all their might.
"Yes! We'd rather die than become monsters controlled by you!"
"Get out of our home!"
"Get out!"
"Heh, a bunch of ignorant ants."
Beside the God of Plague, a plague demon shrouded in a turquoise robe laughed coldly. He took a step forward, his eyes full of contempt.
"Since you refuse to listen to reason and are forced to drink the penalty cup, then I will personally smash your shell today and see what you have left to fight against my father!"
As soon as he finished speaking, he suddenly opened his arms and roared to the sky.
"Brothers, lend me a hand! Let these mortals see what true despair is!"
"Yes, Third Brother!"
His brothers behind him echoed in unison, each activating their demonic power.
In an instant, red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, violet...
Various kinds of demonic energy, filled with deadly poison, soared into the sky and gathered in mid-air.
The multicolored poisonous mist churned and coalesced into a hundred-foot-long, colorful venomous worm, baring its fangs and claws as it charged fiercely toward the island's protective formation below.
"Oh no! The God of Plague has brought seven sons. These poisonous gases carrying the plague are too troublesome. Our protective shield is about to break!" Li Xuan and the others turned pale.
