Chapter 473 New Energy

The newly built factory area at the foot of Tianyu Mountain.

New types of clean energy are being injected into the factory.

As if a sleeping steel behemoth had awakened, rows of brand-new textile machines, smelting furnaces, and various other machines began to operate simultaneously in an instant.

The steam pipes emitted a regular hissing sound, but no black smoke was seen rising; only pure white steam ascended.

"It's a success!"

Dr. Zhong Yan stood on the high control panel and adjusted her frameless glasses on the bridge of her nose.

Beside her stood a group of time travelers from different worlds, all with identical expressions.

A PhD student excitedly pumped his fist, exclaiming, "This is absolutely clean energy! Zero pollution! Zero emissions! In my world, countries would fight tooth and nail over this very concept!"

Jiang Dashan stood at the edge of the crowd, dressed in a simple coarse cloth outfit, his bare arms showing bulging muscles.

He didn't understand clean energy, but he could see how the huge forging press could easily hammer a piece of refined iron into shape.

He muttered to himself, "This strength is greater than that of the ten strongest blacksmiths in the army combined. With this, how many weapons and armor could we make in a day?"

Jiang Le, the younger brother beside him, was attracted by a machine that was automatically producing iron pots. He was practically drooling as he looked at it: "Brother, look at that pot! It's so round and shiny! It's much better than the ones we used to rob, cough, seize!"

Jiang Dashan slapped his younger brother on the back of the head and muttered, "You're hopeless!"

Tong Yiwen wore a modified nurse's uniform for ease of movement.

She thought further ahead, pointing to a machine emitting a faint blue light and performing precise operations, and said, "If the energy supply is stable, could we restore the shadowless lamp used in surgery, and even the centrifuge and X-ray machine?"

The moment these words were spoken, the entire control room fell silent for a moment.

All eyes were on Zhong Yan.

Zhong Yan pushed up her glasses, a confident smile playing on her lips: "Theoretically, it's entirely feasible. As long as there's enough energy, enough materials, and enough manpower, I can recreate an industrial age for you right here at the foot of this mountain."

These words caused everyone to gasp in shock.

Wang Wan, dressed in a blue robe, stood quietly in the corner, watching the bustling scene with a hint of a smile in her eyes.

Supernatural powers and technology, immortal arts and industry—in this place blessed by the gods, perhaps they can be perfectly integrated.

In her view, this is the best of times.

Qingzhou, on the banks of the Yinlong River.

Tens of thousands of laborers were busy on both banks of the river, their shouts echoing throughout. But unlike the corvée labor of the past, everyone here had a smile on their face and was full of energy.

Because they were not performing hard labor, but building their own homes. They were paid well and had meat at every meal, all thanks to the blessings of the Mountain Goddess and Her Majesty the Empress.

At the most crucial water diversion gate, the atmosphere was somewhat tense.

"Everyone, stand back!"

Lin Anniang’s powerful voice rang out. She stood in front of the gate like an iron tower, holding a huge rock weighing several thousand kilograms in her hands, without showing any signs of strain on her face.

Behind her, her two daughters, Lin Xiu and Lin Zhu, were dressed similarly, each carrying a huge stone pillar, standing steadily.

Holding a huge blueprint, Zhong Yan stood on a makeshift wooden platform and loudly directed through a megaphone made of rolled-up sheet metal: "An Niang, move it three inches to the left! Yes, that's the right spot! Place it!"

Lin Anniang gave a low shout, her arm muscles bulging, and she precisely embedded the boulder, which was enough to crush a house, into the pre-reserved groove, fitting it perfectly.

“Next!” Zhong Yan called out.

Beside her, Chen Shuiyi, dressed in a light blue dress that allowed for easy movement, stood barefoot by the water, her eyes slightly closed and her delicate hand gently raised.

As she moved, the rushing river seemed to be tamed by an invisible hand, becoming incredibly docile, bypassing the construction area, and not a single drop of water splashed onto the bank.

"Water instrument, divert another stream of water to flush away the silt in Canal No. 3," Zhong Yan continued to direct.

Chen Shuiyi nodded slightly, and with a slight movement of her slender fingers, a stream of water obediently separated from the main stream, like a water dragon, and rushed precisely towards the distant channel.

Not far away, Lin Chan was puffing out her cheeks. With a wave of her small hand, a gentle breeze swept over all the laborers, carrying away their heat and sweat, drawing cheers and gratitude.

"This is simply divine intervention!" An old official in charge of recording the events exclaimed, his hand trembling as he held the pen.

Precise scientific calculations, coupled with extraordinary divine intervention, have enabled this massive water conservancy project, which would normally take several years to complete, to proceed at an incredible speed.

Within ten days, the Yinlong River Water Conservancy Project was declared completed.

Clear river water flows through newly built channels to thousands of acres of parched farmland in the distance.

East Market, within Qingzhou City.

The afternoon sun was warm and inviting, and the market was bustling with activity.

A man named Zhang Tie was grinning as he held up a bolt of cloth he had just bought to his wife.

"Look at this material! How sturdy it is! And the color is perfect! Such a large bolt, only fifty coins!"

His wife's eyes were a little red. Touching the brand-new, smooth fabric, her voice was choked with emotion: "Am I dreaming? Back in the day, it would take me ages to get a patched-up coarse linen outfit for the child."

"What are you dreaming about! This is all thanks to the Mountain Goddess!" Zhang Tie laughed heartily and pulled a brand-new iron hoe from his basket.

"Look at this! It's a Tianyu brand! I heard it's made in a fairy factory at the foot of the mountain. It's light and fast, cutting mud like it's slicing tofu! Now I can clear two more acres of wasteland all by myself!"
