Chapter 7 Going to Fulfill a Vow

"Zhuzhu, let's try this." Lin Anniang also considered that if they kicked the house down directly, the Lin family might go crazy and have no more scruples, so she brought over a stone.

Lin Zhu nodded solemnly, as if performing some kind of ritual, and squeezed the stone hard.

The villagers who were watching the commotion craned their necks, wanting to see if the little girl really had that much strength.

What they encountered today was truly astonishing; in all their years living in the village, this was the first time they had ever met such a strongman.

The crucial point is that this group of strongmen consisted of a weak woman and two little girls!

"Ade, you mean the third daughter-in-law of the Lin family, isn't she..." The one who spoke was the retired man with the missing arm. His name was Zhang Jiuzhong. The Zhang family, like the Wu family, were farmers who later settled in Linjia Village.

Zhang Jiuzhong was referring to the strange and unusual people he had encountered on the battlefield. Those guys were very peculiar; some were incredibly strong, and some could even breathe fire.

Therefore, the battle on the Liang side was extremely difficult. If it weren't for luck, the two of them would not have been able to escape with their lives.

Wu Deyun frowned as well, but he thought it was unlikely, since Lin Anniang was clearly just an ordinary local.

Perhaps the other person is weak-willed. Although they are very strong, they have never shown it. They may have been pushed too far to care about anything else.

He looked up and saw the girl holding a rock bigger than her head, clasping her hands together and squeezing it hard.

The fist-sized rock instantly shattered into dust, and a pile of sand was blown away by the wind and fell to the ground.

For a moment, the whole world fell silent, even the surrounding gale disappeared. Several villagers who had been watching the commotion stared wide-eyed, while the Lin family members opposite them subconsciously took a few steps back.

Who would have thought that this youngest girl would be even more capable than her mother and older sister!

The other two only shattered the wooden door and collapsed the earthen wall, but this little girl turned the stone into powder!

That was a hard rock the size of a fist; even ten strong men couldn't crush it into powder!

For a moment, everyone's expressions were different. The Lin family members were naturally terrified, afraid of being purged by the mother and her two daughters.

Grandma Lin was filled with remorse and wished she could slap herself hard for tormenting the mother and her two daughters.

At this moment, Lin Anniang gently patted her daughter's head: "Our Zhu'er did a good job. In the future, if anyone bullies you, just pinch a stone in front of them. If that person is still not afraid, then just fight back."

As soon as they finished speaking, the Lin family members took two steps back again, looking at them warily.

Lin Zhu and Lin Xiu nodded together, their little faces flushed with excitement.

Lin Anniang raised her eyes and looked at the villagers around her, saying meaningfully, "The Lin family's door and earthen wall have been in disrepair for many years and have cracked on their own, as you all have seen, haven't you?"

Before Zhang Chongjiu could react, a familiar-looking clan uncle pressed his head down.

Zhang Chongjiu: "..."

It has to be said, everyone is very pragmatic. However, the Lin family deserves it; who told them to act without any moral compass?

If a perfectly good daughter-in-law were treated well, she might even save the Lin family's lives in the future.

Now it seems very uncertain.

Lin Anniang was very satisfied. She completely ignored the quiet Lin family members and turned to go into the house.

Once inside the house, she took out the leftover chicken bones, carefully wrapped them up, and even kept the leaf.

When she came out, she didn't try to hide herself at all. We won't go into how upset the Lin family must have felt after seeing her.

"Xiuer, Zhuer, let's go up the mountain to cut down trees and make a wooden door."

Lin Anniang picked up the tools from her house. There weren't many in her small room, so she went to the main room of the Lin family to get them.

They took all the hoes and pitchforks, and even the axe and some other tools.

“Those are farm tools. You’re not doing any work now, so why are you carrying so many tools?” Old Mrs. Lin was heartbroken.

Lin Anniang gave the old lady a warning look, and she immediately behaved herself.

"What, am I not a member of the Lin family?" With that, she picked up her farm tools, carried her bamboo basket, and left with her daughters.

Before leaving, he warned the Lin family, "If anything is missing from my house, you won't need to keep your windows open anymore."

"I don't care whether you took it or not. If anything is missing, just wait for me to come back and settle accounts!"

The Lin family: "..."

The third son's wife was in a daze for almost half a month. After she woke up, her personality went from one extreme to the other!

“Mother, this is too unreasonable. What if her things are stolen by other villagers?” As she spoke, Wu Cuiying looked at the villagers.

"Shh, whatever you do, don't let that evil spirit hear this!" Old Mrs. Lin's eyes widened instantly.

The house is gone, the door is gone, isn't that terrible enough? Why are you still acting like a monster?

"Stop talking nonsense and hurry up and cook. Let's eat first, fill our stomachs, and then we can discuss how to deal with that guy!" The old lady was already starving.

This morning, they deliberately didn't prepare any food, waiting for Lin Anniang or the two girls to get up and cook. But their efforts were in vain; instead, their gate was smashed and their mud wall was kicked. They didn't even dare to utter a sound.

Wu Cuiying gradually sensed something was wrong: "Mom, are you going to make me cook all the meals from now on? We haven't even done the farm work yet, are we going to do it all?"
