Extra Chapter: Castle in the Sky

Skull Kingdom.

From afar, the sky here is dyed a clear blue by a strange energy shield.

A colossal floating island is slowly hovering a thousand meters above the ground.

The bottom of the island is smooth, mirror-like metal, engraved with dense runes, including spirit-gathering arrays from the world of cultivation and levitation arrays from the world of magic.

Xia Yan wore a fiery red robe, and her long hair was braided into several delicate braids, adorned with tiny crystals.

She stood at the edge of the island, holding a specially made staff in her hand.

"Sister Wang, the energy core is undergoing final adjustments and is ready for connection!" Her voice, amplified by magic, resonated clearly throughout the entire island.

Not far away, at the top of a crystal tower, Wang Wan sat cross-legged.

She wore an elegant blue Taoist robe, with a dot of vermilion between her brows, and her temperament was as aloof as an immortal.

As she changed her hand seals, an energy stone emitting a soft white light was slowly pushed into the array eye at the heart of the tower.

In an instant, the entire floating island seemed to come alive.

The runes at the bottom of the island lit up one by one, forming streams of golden light that flowed and converged along the predetermined patterns.

On the island, magnificent buildings rise from the ground, with flying eaves and brackets, carved beams and painted rafters, yet they also have a touch of ultra-modern metallic texture.

The cloth cascaded down from the sky garden, refracting rainbows in the sunlight, and fell into the clear lake below without splashing a drop of water; instead, it transformed into a misty, ethereal atmosphere.

Sky City is completed.

On the ground, there are also many magnificent and unique landscapes.

A palace entirely constructed from pure white bones, far from being gloomy, had every inch of its bones polished by divine power to a smooth, jade-like finish, with various gemstones inlaid at the seams, making it appear sacred and magnificent.

In the nearby forest, countless exquisite treehouses are built among the branches of towering trees using living vines and wood.

Connected by suspension bridges and zip lines, they form a massive forest treehouse castle, where the breath of nature is palpable.

Further out at the sea, a massive glass dome extends into the ocean, keeping the seawater out.

Beneath the dome, with coral beams and pearl lamps, lies a magnificent underwater palace, where enormous schools of fish swim leisurely past, creating a dreamlike scene of dappled light and shadow.

"We succeeded!" Xia Yan murmured to herself, her eyes trembling slightly with excitement as she looked at the complex of buildings created by countless transmigrators.

Wang Wan gracefully landed beside her, a smile appearing on her usually aloof face.

Several months later, scenes of loud shouting appeared on the main roads of major cities in the states of Yu, Yan, and Man.

Several oddly shaped metal carts, which do not require oxen or horses to pull, slowly drove along.

The car body is painted in bright colors and decorated with exquisite patterns of sky cities and underwater palaces.

A large loudspeaker was mounted on the roof of the vehicle, and a young man in clean overalls was holding a metal cylinder and shouting at the top of his lungs.

Don't miss it! The Skull Kingdom is now open!

"Would you like to see a city floating in the sky? Would you like to experience living in a palace underwater? Would you like to ride a bone dragon and soar through the clouds?"

"A place blessed by the Mountain Goddess, where mortals can experience the life of immortals! We are now offering a family experience package, only two taels of silver per person, including meals, accommodation, and round-trip transportation! Discounts are available for families of three or more!"

An older woman, just finished work at the textile factory and carrying half a pound of pork, was drawn by the shouts and went over to look at the horse-drawn iron cart with suspicion: "Young man, what are you shouting about? Skull Kingdom? That sounds creepy. Living underwater? Aren't you afraid of drowning?"

The young man's name is Zhao Tiezhu. He was one of the first transmigrators rescued by Yu Luo. He used to work in marketing on Earth, and he is now putting his old profession to use.

He grinned broadly, revealing a set of white teeth: "Auntie, you don't know this! This skeleton is not that skeleton! It's a sacred bone purified by the Mountain Goddess with supreme divine power, even more beautiful than white jade! As for the underwater palace, it's protected by divine power. You can roll around inside without drowning!"

A scholar carrying a book box next to him pushed up his glasses, looking on with a hint of disbelief: "Are there really heavenly cities and underwater palaces?"

"Of course it's true!" Zhao Tiezhu patted his chest. "We have special sightseeing buses to take us there. We depart from the border of Yu Kingdom and arrive in just one day! Everyone, think about it. What kind of life did we live before? Now! Thanks to the Mountain Goddess, we can all go to the Divine Kingdom to broaden our horizons! This is a blessing that we can't earn in several lifetimes!"

The crowd was buzzing with discussion, finding it both novel and somewhat frightening.

But the name "Mountain Goddess" is the most compelling brand.

Soon, the first group of daring people, carrying the savings they had painstakingly accumulated in the factory over the past few years, boarded the sightseeing bus to the Skull Kingdom with their families.

Old Wang is sixty-five years old this year. He has spent his whole life making a living in the capital of Liang Kingdom. He has experienced the harsh rule of the previous dynasty and also witnessed the tragic scene of demons running rampant.

When his son and grandson dragged him onto the so-called sightseeing bus, he was extremely unwilling.

"You spendthrift! Two taels of silver could buy your mother so many new clothes! Why did you have to come and see this skeleton?" Old Wang sat in the soft chair, still grumbling.

His son, Wang Dazhuang, smiled憨厚ly: "Dad, the factory gave us a bonus. Besides, this is a place blessed by the Mountain Goddess. Going there to absorb some of her divine energy will help you live a few more years."

The grandson, Gou Dan, and granddaughter, Chun Tao, were even more excited, running around in the carriage and shouting at the scenery rushing past the window.
