"You little piggy, lying in bed and not getting up, you rascal," she said with a sigh, then continued gently, "Yingbao, today is Saturday, a day off for you and your siblings. When Mommy came to call you from the kitchen, it was around 9:40, so it should be almost 10 o'clock now."
Yingbao opened her eyes groggily, looking a little like a bewildered fawn. "Mommy, I want to sleep a little longer, okay?"
Wang Yitong tucked the blanket in and dropped a bombshell: "Yingbao, weren't you talking about your dad every day those past few days? He's back today, are you sure you don't want to come see him?"
Upon hearing this, Yingbao jumped out of bed excitedly. Without even washing her face, she went from room to room looking for her father, Ye Tianyong.
