20 baby towels, 20 bottles of baby wash and body wash. Also, 10 pieces each of baby bathtub, walker, crib, stroller, etc. Finally, a lot of baby clothes were bought; both for boys and girls. Because of the large amount of purchases, the mall manager even gave Ye Ying a batch of rather old, long-stalled baby clothes as a gift, which perfectly solved Ye Ying's immediate financial crisis.
Ye Ying searched all the floors but couldn't find that old-fashioned, colorful outfit.
Having no other choice, I drove to the clothing, fabric, and electronics wholesale market in the next city; I bought a lot of clothes, quilts, bedding sets, etc. that are out of fashion and have a vintage feel. I also bought a lot of fabric, 10 sewing machines, a bicycle, a refrigerator, a washing machine, an air conditioner, a range hood, an electric fan, a rice cooker, a dishwasher, a juicer, various knives, and a whole range of kitchenware.
After ordering her things, Ye Ying went home and used her phone to buy medicine online, such as cold medicine, 999 cough syrup, etc.! She also used her computer to order: a mobile phone, a computer; and a lot of snacks: Xizhilang jelly, White Rabbit milk candy, peanut nougat, Alpenliebe fruit candy, soft candy... various biscuits, pastries, ham, milk, spicy strips, instant noodles, and various snacks; she also ordered KFC cola, hamburgers, and various fried foods from a food website.
"I'll rest at home tomorrow and wait for the goods to arrive!"
The next day, early in the morning, goods from the fruit factory, the shopping mall, and the wholesale market next door arrived one after another. By the time Ye Ying settled the final payments and finished packing everything up, quite some time had passed.
The items I ordered online this afternoon have all been delivered.
Ye Ying glanced down at her watch; it was only four o'clock. There was still plenty of time, so she went to her favorite, lonely duck shop and bought a lot of duck products and braised dishes.
The thought that if I really went to that era, I would never be able to eat all kinds of delicious food again would make me feel unhappy.
I went home, ate a quick meal, and then rested!
Before going to sleep, I was still thinking, "No, I have to go on a trip to another city."
On the third day, Ye Ying arrived in Sichuan and bought all 12 of Sichuan's most famous local snacks: Dan Dan Noodles, Zhong Dumplings, Long Chao Shou (wonton soup), Bo Bo Chicken, Northern Sichuan Cold Noodles, Spicy and Sour Pork Intestine Noodles, Luzhou Yellow Rice Cake, Yibin Burning Noodles, Skewered Hot Pot, Lai Tangyuan (glutinous rice balls), Sad Cold Noodles, and Ye Er Ba (steamed rice cake).
I bought another 50 servings of prepared spicy duck heads.
On the fourth day, I went to Chongqing again and bought a lot of Chongqing noodles, Chongqing hot and sour noodles, Chongqing spicy blood curd, Chongqing glutinous rice balls, Chongqing chicken giblets, Chongqing grilled fish, spicy chicken, as well as Chongqing hot pot base and ingredients. These are all famous local specialties.
On the fifth day, after a long journey, I arrived in Shanghai and bought 20 steamers of pan-fried buns; 20 plates of crab shell pastries; 20 plates of pork rib rice cakes; 20 bowls of eight-treasure rice; 10 bowls of braised pork; 20 plates of eight-treasure duck; 20 plates of crystal shrimp; and 10 plates each of Shanghai white-cut chicken.
On the sixth day, I went to Yunnan again and bought a lot of local snacks. In particular, I bought 200 servings of the local Crossing-the-Bridge Rice Noodles, as well as 500 servings of soup base and semi-finished rice noodle ingredients.
On the seventh day, Ye Ying arrived in the coastal city and first rented a secluded warehouse. Then, following the recommendations of locals, she found a fisherman who frequently went out to sea to fish and always managed to catch a lot of fish and shrimp.
"Sir, I'd like to buy some seafood. What kind do you have?"
