When the man came out, he saw a beautiful woman and a devilishly handsome man standing opposite him. They both looked puzzled. They were all kitchen helpers here. They rarely went out and didn't know anyone outside, so they didn't know Gu Sang and Li Rong.
"Who are you two? What brings you here?" the chef asked Gu Sang and Li Rong with a cold expression.
"I'm the chef in your main kitchen. My name is Li Rong, and her name is Li Rong. We're here to buy groceries." Upon hearing the chef's words, Li Rong smiled and introduced herself, then immediately focused her attention on the vegetables and meat.
"Buying groceries? Then you two come in quickly, come in quickly, it's too windy outside, don't catch a cold." When the cook heard that Gu Sang and Li Rong had come to buy groceries, he noticed that their clothes were very worn and dirty, making them look like beggars. He looked down on their beggar clothes, and Li Rong also smelled faintly of medicine, which made him reluctant to let them into his house.
"Oh, thank you, thank you so much." Gu Sang immediately thanked the chef upon hearing his words, and then pulled Li Rong into the main kitchen.
As soon as Gu Sang and Li Rong entered the large kitchen, Gu Sang was hit by a pungent smell of cooking oil. She couldn't help but cough a few times, covering her mouth. Her eyes narrowed slightly. Gu Sang thought to herself, how come she hadn't noticed before? The kitchen here smelled so bad! In the large kitchen she used to work in in town, the chefs were incredibly skilled, and the smell of cooking oil was so strong that it made her frown. She had worked in the large kitchen for so long and had never smelled anything like this before. It made Gu Sang feel nauseous, and she involuntarily covered her mouth... She sniffed, thinking, "It seems the kitchen here is really dirty. No one has cleaned it for so long, and the smell is so strong, it's absolutely stinky! It seems we're not suited to live here anymore. The environment is terrible. I think we should leave." Gu Sang and Li Rong both decided that they would never set foot in this place again. After all, it was too chaotic, and neither of them were particularly clean people, so they would try their best to avoid it in the future.
After watching the kitchen for a while, Gu Sang and Li Rong followed the chef into a room.
The room looked very ordinary, with nothing in it except a bed and a stool. A little girl was sitting on the stool, scooping rice from a bowl into her own with a spoon. The girl looked very cute and pretty, with round, rosy cheeks that made her look sweet and adorable. As she shoveled food into the pot, she blew on it, and the aroma was irresistible, making everyone's mouths water. Gu Sang and Li Rong's stomachs rumbled as they smelled the delicious food.
After smelling the aroma of the dish, Gu Sang and Li Rong felt even hungrier.
"Li Rong, hurry up and eat! Let's eat quickly, the food here is delicious, you'll definitely like it," Gu Sang said to Li Rong with a smile, her tone slightly coaxing.
After hearing Gu Sang's words, Li Rong swallowed hard, then nodded to Gu Sang and said, "Okay, since you want to try the food here, I'll give it a try. If it's good, I'll eat more."
"Okay, then Gu Sang, you should eat quickly. I've already finished all these dishes." As Li Rong spoke, she picked up the chopsticks on the table, took a green pepper, and put it in her mouth to chew.
Seeing Li Rong enjoying her food so much made Gu Sang quite happy.
While Gu Sang and Li Rong were eating in the kitchen, another room in the large kitchen was also bustling with activity.
"Oh my, our dishes are so delicious today! They're so much better than when we used to sell vegetables. You came just in time! If you hadn't come in time, we would have failed." The cook exclaimed to Li Rong and Gu Sang while eating a chicken wing.
Upon hearing the cook's words, Li Rong and Gu Sang exchanged a glance.
Gu Sang said to the cook, "Don't say that. Of course your dishes are delicious. You are a cook, and it's really good that you can make such delicious dishes. Your cooking skills are amazing."
After Gu Sang finished speaking, her eyes couldn't help but be fixed on the plate of braised pork. Gu Sang thought that this dish was indeed very delicious.
"If it's delicious, then eat more." The cook said to Li Rong, while serving Gu Sang a bowl of soup and placing it in front of Li Rong.
"Thank you, thank you. This soup is so delicious. I really love the food from your kitchen." Gu Sang took the bowl and said quickly to the cook.
As Gu Sang spoke, she scooped up a bowl of soup and drank it.
After drinking the soup, Gu Sang found it very delicious. The soup was exceptionally clear, and she felt very refreshed after finishing it.
After Gu Sang finished her soup, Li Rong served her another bowl and placed it in front of her. Gu Sang picked up the bowl and took a sip of soup.
After finishing her second bowl of soup, Gu Sang felt full of energy. She felt like she had been injected with adrenaline, and her stomach was growling with hunger.
She felt she should eat her fill because the food here was delicious, many times better than the food in her hometown. She was determined to eat it all and never go home again.
After thinking it over, Gu Sang picked up her spoon and continued to serve herself soup.
Seeing this, Li Rong said to Gu Sang, "Gu Sang, don't serve yourself. Just eat. I'll take care of the rest."
After Li Rong finished speaking, he snatched the spoon from Gu Sang's hand, scooped up a spoonful of food, and put it in his mouth to eat.
As a man, Li Rong didn't need to be so refined while eating. Gu Sang watched Li Rong wolf down his food, her eyes wide and unblinking as she observed him eat, finding it all very fascinating. Gu Sang then began to eat in the same manner as Li Rong.
"Eat slowly, I won't fight you for it. Eat slowly, this soup is very hot, don't eat it all at once, eat slowly," Gu Sang reminded Li Rong.
