Chapter 51 Rescue

Tian Laosi originally wanted to go too, but his second brother persuaded him not to, saying, "Our trip might be dangerous. You stay and protect the family!"

That's what he said, but actually he was worried that if something happened to them, he would have someone to rely on if he left his fourth brother behind.

How could Tian Laosi not understand what his second brother meant?

He nodded, his voice choked with emotion, and urged his second and third brothers to come back safely!

Tian Guoguo was also worried about her father, so she jumped down from her grandmother's arms and wobbled over to her father's side.

She first beckoned to her father, signaling him to squat down, as she wanted to whisper something to him.

Tian Laosan's tense mood was immediately amused by his daughter's cute appearance. He squatted down affectionately and asked his daughter what she wanted to say.

When no one was looking, Tian Guoguo slipped two things into her father's arms.

Then, she whispered some instructions in her father's ear.

Tian Laosan's eyes lit up immediately. He subconsciously wanted to say something, but his daughter suddenly reached out and put her hand to his mouth, making a "shh" sound in her childish voice.

Tian Laosan understood.

He gave his daughter two kisses on the cheek and then followed the villagers up the mountain.

The villagers of Qingshan Village were frantically climbing the mountain to search for someone, while halfway up the mountain...

Wang Tieniu and Dazhuang did indeed go up the mountain.

The two of them had their eyes open, yet it seemed as if they hadn't.

Because their eyes are lifeless, even if there are stones and trees in front of them, they seem not to see them and just blindly run into them.

They seemed oblivious to pain.

After bumping into rocks and trees, he staggered to his feet, got up, and continued walking around them.

Little did they know how long they had been walking like this...

They stopped in their tracks only when several pairs of bright green eyes suddenly appeared ahead of them.

His consciousness gradually returned.

Both of them instinctively shuddered.

The next second, Wang Tieniu suddenly shouted, "What are you waiting for? Run!"

Having said that, he grabbed Dazhuang's sleeve and started walking back.

Da Zhuang was so frightened that his legs went weak. If Wang Tie Niu hadn't been holding him up, he probably wouldn't have been able to run at all.

But what are those eyes?

It belongs to the hungry wolf!

Seeing the food arrive in their territory, how could they let it escape so easily!

A hungry wolf howled ahead, and instantly more than a dozen pairs of green eyes appeared around them. The hungry wolf under the green eyes pounced quickly.

Dazhuang was quickly pounced on by a hungry wolf and knocked to the ground.

Wang Tieniu was strong and knew some martial arts. When he saw Dazhuang being pounced on by a hungry wolf, he immediately picked up a large rock from the ground and threw it at him.

The boulder hit the hungry wolf on the head, causing it to collapse to the ground in pain.

Wang Tieniu pulled Dazhuang up and they continued running.

Dazhuang, however, could not stand up.

The hungry wolf had scratched his leg, so he quickly pushed Wang Tieniu away, saying, "Brother Tieniu, don't worry about me, let's go!"

Wang Tieniu is a good person, he's just very loyal!

They were all villagers who had shared joys and sorrows, and he would never abandon Dazhuang and run away. He forcibly carried Dazhuang on his back and angrily told him not to give up.

She encouraged him, saying, "We have elderly parents to rely on and young children to take care of. We can't die!"

"Did you hear me?!"

As Dazhuang listened, tears streamed down his face. He was born of a mother and raised by a father; how could he not understand this principle?

We can't drag Brother Tie Niu down.

Seeing another hungry wolf pounce, he suddenly used all his strength to break free from Wang Tieniu and even pushed him away.

He shouted, "Brother Tie Niu, run!"

Wang Tieniu was pushed far away.

Having finally gained his footing, he stubbornly turned around quickly, wanting to save Dazhuang again. He couldn't abandon Dazhuang, otherwise…

Otherwise, what will happen to Dazhuang's family?

He was thinking about it.

Before he could even process the second half of the story, the scene that came into view shocked him so much that his legs went weak uncontrollably.

Dazhuang was surrounded by hungry wolves.

Even if he rushed over with all his might, he probably couldn't save Dazhuang's life.

Right now, all he can do is run!

While the hungry wolf was devouring Dazhuang, he might still have a chance to escape, but how could he bear to do that?

He gritted his teeth, the masculine instinct within him gradually igniting. His legs went weak, so he pinched them hard, the pain overwhelming his weakness…

Even if it means death, he will not give up!

He was about to rush forward again, but just as he was about to lift his foot and run forward, a large hand suddenly pressed down on his shoulder from behind.

Before he could turn around, a loud bang came from the direction of the hungry wolf.

Tian Laosan's deep voice followed immediately, "Don't be afraid, we're here!"

Those four simple words brought tears to Wang Tieniu's eyes.

After saying that, Tian Laosan rushed off to help the villagers rescue Dazhuang.

The hungry wolves were frightened by the explosion and scattered in all directions. The village chief shouted for everyone to quickly rescue Dazhuang and asked Wang Tieniu how things were going.

Wang Tieniu was momentarily dazed, then quickly replied that he was fine.

At the same time, let's all come together to rescue people!

Da Zhuang's legs and arms had several chunks of flesh bitten off by the hungry wolves, making him look quite gruesome. He had already fainted.

The village chief didn't have time to bandage him; he had to leave this dangerous place first.

Just as he was about to shout for the villagers to leave quickly, the hungry wolves that had been scared away earlier rushed forward first.

The hungry wolf was very fast, and in just a moment it surrounded the villagers, baring its teeth and threatening them.

Dazhuang was saved because Tian Laosan threw a grenade that Guoguo had given him, but the grenade was not very powerful.

Although the hungry wolves were frightened, none of them were injured.

They quickly realized that the loud noise had no deterrent effect, so why would they be afraid anymore?

The villagers also noticed this.

A fierce battle is inevitable tonight.

Fortunately, Qian Bao also brought several brothers with him. Having lived in the mountains for many years, they knew the weaknesses of hungry wolves.

Qian Bao immediately ordered several of his brothers, who were armed with knives, to protect the villagers from the outside.

He then shouted to the villagers inside, "When you see the hungry wolves rushing over, take the opportunity to hit them with torches. Remember, hit them hard on the head!"

The head is one of the wolf's most vulnerable spots.

Driven by instinctive fear, the villagers subconsciously obeyed any commands they were given.

The wolves charged, and the wolf pack mustered their courage and began to strike the wolf pack's heads.

The saying goes, "To catch the thief, first catch the king."

Qian Bao used his years of experience to search for the alpha wolf in the pack, and he quickly spotted his target.

He acted swiftly; when the wolves charged again, he leaped from the crowd and raised his long knife to strike the lead wolf.

Unfortunately, the alpha wolf was far more difficult to deal with than he had imagined.

Just as he was about to strike the alpha wolf, the wolf that was rushing towards him immediately dodged his attack and counterattacked him at top speed.

The alpha wolf was also very fast, and Qian Bao didn't have time to change his attack, so he could only dodge.

Qian Bao's attack on the alpha wolf deprived the wolf pack of its main force, causing their attacks to become somewhat uneven.

The brothers took the opportunity to intensify their killing spree.

Tian Laosan and Wang Tieniu also noticed this. Both of them knew some martial arts, so they immediately grabbed wooden sticks and charged forward.

Seeing their ferocity, the village chief shouted to the villagers, "They're nothing but a bunch of beasts! Everyone, cheer up and beat them to death!"

"Only by killing them can we go home!"

"My family is still waiting for us to live a better life!"

The last phrase, "young and old in the family," instantly ignited everyone's fighting spirit. They were all strong men in their families, and their families needed them!

They cannot die!

Everyone overcame their fear and picked up their torches and sticks to fight the hungry wolves.

Because they were all just farmers, many villagers were injured one after another, and some even fell prey to the gaping maws of hungry wolves...

They instinctively screamed in alarm.
