Chapter 25 Erotic Fun
Xia Zhen applied medicine to Lu Jin's wound, simply wiping it with some ointment. It didn't really help much, but it was all she could do, at least it gave her some psychological comfort.
It was already very late, and she wanted Lu Jin to sleep in her bed for a while, but Lu Jin refused.
Xia Zhen could guess that he thought she would dirty her bed, so she took his hand and said, "Lu Jin, I really don't mind if you sleep in my bed."
Although the house wasn't big, it had three bedrooms and a living room. Xia Zhen had one room, Aunt Fang had one room, and there was a small, untidy room. She didn't want Lu Jin to sleep in someone else's room.
Lu Jin stubbornly said, "I'm not tired."
Xia Zhen reached out and touched the corner of his eye. His beautiful, clear eyes were bloodshot. How could he not be tired?
In a family like that, he probably never had a chance to rest properly.
Lu Jin smiled slightly. "I'll just lie down on the sofa for a bit."
This is already considered a concession on his part.
Xia Zhen knew that some things couldn't be rushed. She glanced at the sofa, and then, as if she had thought of something, her eyes lit up. "Okay, I'll help you."
In fact, Lu Jin often had to rely on himself in his daily life, but Xia Zhen was happy to help and helped him lie down on the sofa.
Lu Jin had just lain down when the girl climbed up to him and pushed him closer, saying, "It's very narrow, move further in."
Lu Jin finally understood why she had readily agreed to let him sleep on the sofa.
Seeing that he didn't move, the girl knelt on the edge of the sofa, teetering on the edge. She said pitifully, "I'm going to fall."
As she spoke, her body actually swayed slightly.
Before she could even process what was happening, his hand had already wrapped around her waist.
She smiled and, taking advantage of the situation, climbed onto him, forcing him to move over and give her more space.
But the sofa was only so wide, and even though he tried his best to make room for her so she could lie on her side, their bodies were still pressed tightly together. Plus, she kept moving around on purpose, as if she might roll off the sofa at any moment, so he couldn't find a chance to let go of her arm.
The poor little white cat was sleeping soundly, but the commotion made it impossible for it to stay asleep on the sofa. It glanced at the boy and girl who exuded a foolish aura, meowed in disgust, and jumped onto the coffee table to sleep.
Xia Zhen pulled up the small blanket next to her to cover the two of them, and then she snuggled closer to the boy. Her mischievous idea had worked, and she was very excited. Her eyes crinkled when she looked at him.
"Lu Jin, if I fall to the ground, I will definitely cry from the pain."
"...You can go back to your room and sleep."
"No, you're here, I want to sleep here."
His pale face showed no emotion, but she could clearly feel the hand around her waist tightening.
The sofa is definitely better than the bed. Her bed is so big, she can't find an excuse to be so close to him.
Xia Zhen shifted restlessly, raising her upper body. He could only move his body slightly in response, making it easier for her to lean softly against his chest.
Listening to his heartbeat, she looked up at him and smiled happily, "Lu Jin, do you think this counts as sharing a bed?"
He was very rational: "This is a sofa, not a bed."
"If you have a bed in your heart, anywhere can be a bed." She always had a lot of twisted logic, and she could always say it with a straight face. The scent of the boy lingered around her nose. Like a drunkard, she squinted her eyes happily, "Lu Jin, you smell so good. I like it."
Lu Jin felt a slight burning sensation behind his ears. He reached out and pressed the back of the girl's head against his chest, preventing her from looking up at him. His voice remained calm as ever, "Don't say things like that when you're alone with someone of the opposite sex."
Xia Zhen couldn't see his face anymore, and she was a little unhappy. She gently poked his chest with one hand and muttered, "Are you going to turn into a wild beast and eat me up in one bite?"
The boy's voice underwent a subtle change, "Xia Zhen."
Call me Zhenzhen.
He was silent for a moment, then said, "Zhenzhen."
She laughed again, "I'm listening, what do you want me to do?"
His chest tingled from her poking, and his whole body felt weak and pliable. He held down her mischievous hand and whispered, "Behave yourself."
Xia Zhen was able to lift her face to look at him. She glared at him, feigning displeasure, "Lu Jin, do you have any sense of romance?"
He said, "No."
Xia Zhen was furious with him. She scrambled to her feet, then pounced on him, cupping his face in her hands and staring at him intently. She said fiercely, "You're not allowed to refuse my advances. This is called romance, don't you understand?"
The girl seemed disappointed in him, as if she was genuinely angry.
Lu Jin lay quietly, and perhaps because of the light, a faint smile appeared in his light-colored eyes when he saw the girl's face.
Xia Zhen suddenly stopped feeling angry.
Who could resist a cool and aloof young man suddenly revealing such a vibrant and energetic side?
He reached out a hand and gently tucked a stray strand of hair that had fallen near her eye behind her ear. His slightly cold fingertips caressed her earlobe with an indescribable magic.
A sweet, cloying scent filled the air, and her heart softened. Sitting on the boy's waist, she hugged his outstretched hand, which still bore scars. She whispered, "Does it really not hurt anymore?"
Lu Jin shook his head, "It really doesn't hurt anymore."
Xia Zhen placed his hand on her cheek. The temperature difference between their skin as they touched brought a secret joy that spread throughout her body, and the dopamine released seemed to be the best painkiller.
Lu Jin's voice was a little hoarse, "I'm really fine."
She smiled and hummed in agreement.
From beginning to end, she never asked him how he got injured.
Lu Jin knew that if he didn't tell her, she definitely wouldn't ask, but she would keep talking to him about everything, big or small.
She said it was the desire to share.
Whether it's something happy or something unhappy, sharing or talking about it with loved ones seems to become a kind of romance.
"Today is Lu Ci's birthday, and his parents bought him a cake."
Xia Zhen was surprised that he took the initiative to speak, but she did not interrupt and waited quietly for him to finish.
The only difficult moment is when you open your mouth; after that, it becomes much easier.
He spoke calmly, as if he were talking about something that had nothing to do with him, “There’s a scratch on the cake on the table. They say it was Xiaobai who did it, but Xiaobai has been in the room with me the whole time.”
Xia Zhen could already guess how things would unfold: Lu Jin was trying to protect Xiao Bai, and not only was he beaten up, but he was also kicked out of the house.
A pang of sadness welled up in her heart, and her eyes misted over again. "If I hadn't come, would you have had to stay out all night?"
He has never been a person favored by God. The hardships in life have taught him not to waste his emotions on pain and suffering. But now, there is a girl in front of him who is saddened by what he has gone through.
This was an indescribable experience for him.
Lu Jin sat up and pulled the girl into his arms. She leaned softly against his chest and heard his heartbeat, so strong and powerful, but it only made her feel more sad.
He rested his chin on the girl's head and said in a low voice, "They know I can't go far, and they also know that if something happens to me, it will cause them a lot of gossip, so I can only stay outside for three or four hours at most before I go back."
Xia Zhen clutched his school uniform jacket tightly.
He hadn't changed his clothes yet, which shows how flustered he was when he was kicked out.
“Zhenzhen…” he said, “I won’t die out there, don’t be afraid.”
Xia Zhen straightened up, reached out and wrapped her arms around his neck, rested her head on the boy's shoulder, and whispered against his cheek, "Lu Jin."
"Um."
"When it's your birthday, I'll definitely make you a big cake."
The boy's eyes were lowered, bathed in the gentle light of the lamp, and he murmured, "Okay."
