Chapter 32 I Want to Kiss You

Chapter 32 I Want to Kiss You

Xia Zhen laughed and gave his face a good squeeze. "Feeling better now?"

After a long while, he nodded slightly.

"Let's go into the classroom then." Xia Zhen walked behind him and pushed the wheelchair into the classroom.

Lu Jin's tense body gradually relaxed.

What's inexplicable is that she doesn't need to say or do much; simply standing by his side is enough to calm his heart.

After Xia Zhen sat down, she moved her chair closer to him, and he took her hand.

Thinking he was going to make her sit up straight and stand further away again, Xia Zhen looked at him with dissatisfaction.

Unexpectedly, he took her hand and pulled her closer to him.

Xia Zhen's eyes sparkled, and her surprise and joy seemed to leap out.

Lu Jin's eyes were still red, and he was slightly uncomfortable, but he still did not let go.

To praise him, she leaned in and gave him a big kiss on the chin.

Her affection for him was always expressed so boldly and passionately, as if she wanted him to feel her love at all times.

The unease in Lu Jin's heart finally disappeared, and he softly called her name, "Zhenzhen".

Xia Zhen smiled and said, "I'm here."

He said in a low voice, "Lu Ci is right."

Admitting his shameful past to her was like tearing a hole in his soul, but he had to admit it because he didn't want to lie to her.

Taking advantage of the fact that no one was in the classroom yet, Xia Zhen pressed herself almost against him and asked in a low voice, "Do you know what I was thinking when I heard those words?"

His voice trembled with nervousness, "What?"

Is it disgusting?

Or is it disgust?

Will she regret being with him?

In a short period of time, countless worst possible outcomes flashed through his mind.

Every result made his heart clench as if it were being squeezed tightly.

Xia Zhen reached out and gently stroked his pale face. Her expression softened, and when her eyes fell on his face, the gentle light in her eyes grew warmer. "If only I had been by your side back then. I wanted to protect you."

Lu Jin's heart skipped a beat, and soon his burning eyes blurred his vision. Like a lost child, he stood there helplessly, as if he were a newborn baby due to his lack of experience in dealing with this situation.

After a long silence, he pursed his lips slightly and said, "You wouldn't have liked me back then."

"Why?"

"Back then, I was...very annoying."

He was telling the truth.

As a child, Lu Jin was withdrawn and silent. Not to mention his physical disability and appearance that differed from normal people, he suffered a lot of pressure from the outside world. As a result, he was like a hedgehog, refusing to let others get close.

Even if someone sympathizes with him, they will soon come to dislike him because of his cold and aloof attitude.

Even more so, he had overheard people whispering that it was no wonder someone as eccentric as him had such an experience.

That's really a strange thing.

Because he was used to it, he didn't think there was anything sad about his life before. But now, when he mentioned the past in front of her, he suddenly felt that every word he uttered was like a knife being stabbed into his heart, and even breathing was painful.

Xia Zhen carefully wiped the corner of his eye, her fingertips also feeling warm. She smiled and looked at him, saying, "So what if you weren't likable when you were little? I happen to be quite likable, so we complement each other."

He took her hand, his watery eyes seemingly sparkling with starlight.

She smiled again: "Lu Jin, believe me, I will always love you, no matter what."

He inexplicably wanted to believe such baseless claims.

She brought the lost people back.

Lu Jin blinked, the raindrops on his long eyelashes trembling slightly. His voice was hoarse as he said with difficulty, "Zhenzhen, thank you."

Xia Zhen looked at him with a smile.

He lowered his eyes and held her hand tightly.

He just wanted to be intimate with her, and every time their bodies touched, it brought him great satisfaction.

As the time for morning self-study approached, almost everyone in the classroom had arrived.

The math class representative walked around the classroom, urging the students to hand in their homework. When he passed the corner seat, he glanced at it again.

The class's goddess was catching up on sleep at her desk, while the withdrawn boy in a wheelchair next to her was quietly reading a book on the table.

It's a pity that the goddess, who was lying on the table, had her face turned towards the boy, so we couldn't see how cute her sleeping posture was.

Suddenly, I noticed a cold gaze looking over.

The math class representative quickly looked away, calmly walked away, and only breathed a sigh of relief after returning to his seat.

The class representative for Chinese language glanced at him. "What are you panicking about?"

"It's no wonder I panicked. You have no idea how terrifying Lu Jin's eyes are!"

"oh."

The math class representative touched his chin strangely again, "I saw a wound on Lu Jin's lip, could it be from the goddess..."

The class representative for Chinese language looked up expectantly.

The math class representative: "He got beaten up by the goddess."

The class representative for Chinese: "..."

"The goddess must have found that guy difficult to get along with, so she's getting impatient with him!" Seeing his deskmate's complicated expression, the math class representative asked in confusion, "What's wrong? Did I say something wrong? Was the injury on his lip from being beaten up by the goddess? It couldn't have been from being kissed, could it?"

The class representative for Chinese sighed, patted her deskmate on the shoulder, and said in a heavy tone, "It's a good thing to have a childlike heart."

The math class representative was full of questions, feeling as if he was being looked down upon.

The bell rang for morning self-study.

Under the table, the boy gripped the girl's hand tightly.

Xia Zhen rubbed her eyes with her other hand and sat up. She yawned lazily, and suddenly a small note appeared on the table.

It read in neat handwriting: "You don't have to get up so early for school every day."

Xia Zhen didn't even look up. She picked up her pen and wrote below: "Am I interested in going to school? I'm interested in you."

She tossed the note to the person next to her.

Lu Jin's ears quickly turned red, but his gaze remained fixed on the words "I'll sleep with you." In the end, he couldn't hold back any longer and put the note into the deepest compartment of his backpack.

After doing all this, he saw the girl next to him looking at him with a smile. Lu Jin pretended to be calm and looked up at the blackboard.

However, the gaze beside me remained.

He simply couldn't resist, and even his face gained a healthy flush.

Xia Zhen finally laughed out loud with joy.
