Chapter 9 Don't Come

Everyone knew that this was the woman their leader had taken a liking to, so they didn't make any rash moves. They just brandished the large knife in their hand, trying to intimidate Mo Qianshang.

Their bandit leader nimbly dismounted and strode forward to approach Mo Qianshang, staring at her with great interest.

"Women, being arrogant will come at a price."

"Of course, for a woman as beautiful as you, I can make an exception..." The bandit leader laughed twice, and the scar on his face trembled, making him look particularly terrifying.

Out of professional habit, Mo Qianshang dislikes people she doesn't know getting too close to her.

Seeing that the other party was about to reach out and touch her face, Mo Qianshang's eyes narrowed, and the dagger in her hand, gleaming with a sharp, cold light, flew out and struck the bandit's face directly.

The bandit leader was no pushover either; he casually grabbed one of his men to shield him. The man was unsurprisingly struck, screaming as he fell to the ground.

Through this action, Mo Qianshang was certain that her previous guess about this group was correct; they were all ruthless killers. She immediately became even more vigilant.

The other party was also completely enraged by Mo Qianshang's reaction, and his face instantly changed from a smile to a terrifying and ferocious expression.

"You little vixen, you're really something! You think you can get away with this? Fine, I'll send you to drink with the King of Hell right now!"

The bandit leader roared and charged forward, his broadsword whistling through the air. Anyone could see that if that sword were to strike, no one could withstand the blow.

However, Mo Qianchang was always stronger when facing a stronger opponent, and was not afraid of the bandit leader's ruthlessness at all. She drew the Swiss Army knife she kept for self-defense from her sleeve and went to meet him like a ghost.

Having already realized that this woman was not someone to be trifled with, the other bandits, fearing that if they were injured, they would take their anger out on them, tightened their encirclement and seized every opportunity to ambush Mo Qianshang.

At first, Mo Qianshang had plenty of energy and could handle things with ease, but the more she went on, the more powerless she felt.

Ultimately, this body was a bit too weak, and its reactions couldn't keep up with her quick mind.

Gradually, Mo Qianshang fell into a disadvantageous position. A few little kids in the distance were getting anxious and accidentally made a commotion, which was spotted by Liu Dashan with his crooked eyes.

"Brother, this little wench's Achilles' heel is those bastards. As long as we catch them, she'll be begging you for forgiveness!"

These bandits were not simple-minded to begin with. Upon hearing Liu Dashan's reminder, without their leader even giving an order, several of them immediately rushed towards Qin Yuya and Qin Heming.

Mo Qianshang realized what was happening and, despite being stabbed twice, still wanted to rush back to save the child at all costs. Unfortunately, the opening she had painstakingly created was immediately filled by the other bandits, and the bandit leader was in hot pursuit.

She had no choice but to continue pushing her limits.

The youngest, Qin Yuya, couldn't withstand the intimidation and saw that Mo Qianshang's body was soaked in blood. Her little mouth trembled and she burst into tears.

Qin Heming had no choice but to pick up his sister and run as fast as he could along the path, trying to avoid the bandits chasing them.

The two quickly disappeared from Mo Qianshang's sight. She was suddenly filled with panic and secretly spent a lot of money to exchange for anesthetic needles from the mall. Taking advantage of the bandits' smugness and arrogance, she swiftly stabbed several of them unconscious.

Seizing this opportunity, they quickly gave chase.

When Mo Qianshang arrived, the two children were huddled to one side, and Shanshui, who had been chasing them, was lying on the ground, disoriented. The only way to tell that they were still alive was by their twitching legs.

Without even asking, Mo Qianshang rushed to the two little ones, hugged them, and gently patted their backs to comfort them.

"Don't be afraid, don't be afraid, it's alright now. This time it was my carelessness. I will never let anyone else hurt you again..."

"Is that so? With your mediocre skills, you dare to fight those people? You're really overestimating yourself!"

A clear, cool voice with a hint of mockery rang out from behind, startling Mo Qianshang so much that she picked up the children and quickly moved away, keeping a distance and wary eye on the white-clad, masked man in the distance.

Before she could ask who it was, Qin Heming tugged at her sleeve and whispered an explanation.

"Mother, I'm too heavy, put me down first. Mother, don't worry, this uncle is a good person. He's the one who just defeated those bandits and saved me and my little sister."

It turned out that he was the little ones' savior. Mo Qianshang breathed a sigh of relief, put Qin Heming on the ground, and thanked the man in white.

"Thank you for saving my life, but the bandits over there still need to be dealt with. I will come back to thank you properly after this is over. Please forgive me."

After saying that, Mo Qianshang took one child in each hand and carried one child in her arms as she walked back. Unexpectedly, the man in white followed her, his dark and deep eyes revealing no emotion.

"You can't protect them all by yourself. I'll see it through to the end."

In the past, Mo Qianshang would have definitely looked down on a man who only mocked him, and might even have fought him to show him who was incompetent.

The man in front of her had just saved two little kids, so she couldn't be rude to him and had to hold back, following him back home.

Upon seeing them return, the bandit leader was furious, even swinging his broadsword to chop down the surrounding withered grass and trees.

"You little wench, you actually dared to come back? Don't think that just because you found a pretty boy, I'll..."

Before he could finish his arrogant words, a cold glint of light grazed his ear, severing his earlobe instantly. He clutched his ear in pain, his eyes bloodshot.

"Bastards! Kill them! Kill them all right now!"

At the command, the surrounding bandits and those continuing to rush towards them all swarmed around Mo Qianshang and the man in white.

They seemed determined to kill them all.

Ultimately, it was she and her child who had dragged the other party into this mess. Mo Qianshang glanced at the man in white with a hint of apology, but before she could even utter a word of advice to him to leave, the man had already drawn his sword and plunged into the chaotic crowd.

The opponent wielded his long sword with incredible speed, and in just a few breaths, the bandits who had surrounded him scattered like wild grass that had been cut in half, no longer posing any threat to them.

With the situation looking very favorable, Mo Qianshang decided to put the two children aside in a safe area and then join the battle.

Unexpectedly, the man in white seemed to see through her thoughts, glanced at her lightly, and mouthed two words.

"Don't come."

Immediately afterwards, the white-clad figures danced and fluttered, and the stench of blood grew stronger until all the bandits ceased to resist. Only then did the man withdraw from the battlefield, lowering his eyes to carefully wipe the silvery-white sword in his hand.

Whether intentionally or not, Liu Dashan was deliberately left behind. He was now slumped against a large tree, a large puddle of water around his buttocks, muttering to himself.

"No, don't kill me! I know I was wrong, I was wrong!"

The villagers had already witnessed everything that had happened, and ignoring Liu Dashan's pleas for mercy, they swarmed around him and began punching and kicking him.

After a casual glance, Mo Qianshang led the children, who had just been comforted, toward the man in white.
