Chapter 439 Marmot

"What did you say?"

"Do you really have news of our predecessors?"

After Tianluo finished explaining the whole story, Shushu and the others forgot that the little creature it brought back was an earth spirit; their attention was completely drawn to its words.

One by one, people exclaimed in amazement, their faces filled with shock, and confirmed it with them again.

Facing the unwavering gazes of over a dozen pairs of eyes fixed on him, Tianluo showed no fear whatsoever, nodding firmly to confirm that he hadn't boasted.

Then it pushed out the earth spirit: "Just ask it." Then it gently poked the little earth spirit: "Don't you think so?"

"I...I..." Earth Spirit was clearly not as calm as Heavenly Net. Suddenly pushed to the center of the line of sight and stared at by so many unfamiliar eyes, it visibly panicked and stammered, managing to utter only this one word after a long while.

Finally, unable to hold on any longer, it swiftly transformed its already palm-sized form into the size of a thumb and quickly hid itself among the vines of the Heavenly Net.

After hiding inside, it probably thought that the people outside could still see it through the gaps, so it pulled over three leaves and wrapped itself up like a cocoon, as tightly as possible.

All of this happened very quickly and suddenly, and everyone present was stunned by its actions.

They stared at the clump of leaves in disbelief for a long while before they came to their senses. They looked at each other, speechless.

After a long pause, Shushu looked at Tianluo with a somewhat dry expression and said, "Why don't you just take us there?"

"Don't ask anymore," she thought. She felt that if she kept asking, the wood spirit would become withdrawn. Oh no, it already was.

Tianlu thought about it again and realized that this was also a solution. He poked the cluster of leaves with his branch and asked the earth spirit inside for its opinion.

The leaf trembled a few times, as if nodding, and so the group began to follow it.

The little guy didn't follow the normal route either. It stretched out a tiny hand from the leaves, and with a gentle wave, a ball of soil appeared out of thin air, enveloping everything present.

Everyone felt that the ball of earth seemed to be rolling and jumping, and when it stopped, it was already far, far away from the cage.

Looking back from the vast Gobi Desert, all you can see is a small, raised dot at the edge of your vision.

Whether it was because they spent some time together or something else, after the earth ball dispersed, the earth spirit finally stopped hiding itself in the leaves of the Heavenly Net.

He left with the words, "Stay close to me," and flew ahead to lead the way.

This place is like a folded space. With each step, you can clearly feel that it is different from the previous one, and you cannot project your divine sense outward.

If it weren't for the earth spirit leading the way, they probably would have gotten lost after only a few steps.

Sensing the danger of brushing past them, and then looking at the long lines stretching out in front and behind.

After thinking it over and discussing it with everyone, Shushu temporarily put all the little friends except Tianluo into his space.

In this way, only four people remained with Tu Ling: Tian Luo, Shu Shu Lu Li, and Long Yi, greatly reducing the length of the team.

Little Earth Spirit turned back and gave Shushu an appreciative look, then sped up under Shushu's somewhat embarrassed gaze.

After many twists and turns, they led everyone to an inconspicuous cave entrance, the source of which was unknown. The entrance was very small, probably no bigger than an adult's fist.

Although Shushu was a little confused, seeing that Xiaotuling and Tianluo had both squeezed in, he could only desperately shrink his own body to its smallest size before he could barely squeeze in.

She went inside, and Lu Li and Long Yi naturally followed closely behind.

However, as soon as the three of them entered, they were almost hit in the face by a rock that was quite large for their current size.

They skillfully dodged the stones, but more stones followed one after another, falling like a rain of stones.

While cleverly dodging, the small potato also kept an eye on the situation.

Then, the moment she saw what was happening, her eyes were filled with disbelief, and her movements slowed down by half a beat. If Lu Li hadn't pulled her away in time, she would have been hit by the rock.

Not far ahead, Tianluo Xiaotuling was fighting back and forth with a marmot.

In addition, several marmots stood at the four or five passageways opposite, all with angry expressions.

The stones that nearly hit Shushu and the others came from their claws.

When the little guys saw the potatoes staring at them, they weren't scared at all. Instead, they were unusually fierce, baring their two big front teeth and deliberately making ferocious noises in an attempt to scare the potatoes away.

They had no idea that with their small bodies and those expressions, they didn't look fierce at all; they were just adorably silly.

If it weren't for the fear of really angering these little guys, Shushu would have even wanted to catch them and pluck them bald.

Just as Shushu was pondering how to find an opportunity to plunder these little guys, Tianluo had already firmly bound its opponent, and also bound Xiaotuling's opponent in the process.

These two marmots were probably the leaders of the group. After discovering that the two marmots were tied up, the remaining marmots ignored Shushu Luli Longyi and immediately changed their target to Tianluo.

The stones that were originally aimed at the glutinous rice ball were all thrown at Tianluo instead.

Seeing that Tianluo had nimbly dodged the attack, the marmot knew that throwing stones was useless. After letting out a warning hiss, it began to gather its spiritual power and, in conjunction with its spiritual techniques, attacked Tianluo.
