Upon seeing the giant beast, everyone's first reaction was to run away as fast as possible.
However, before they could act, two more urgent shouts rang out.
Then, with the same setup, a group of immortals ran in front, while giant beasts chased desperately behind, forming a three-way encirclement that came towards them.
For a moment, it seemed that no matter which direction they ran, there was danger.
Seeing this, everyone was also a bit confused, looking at each other, unsure whether to run or not.
While they hesitated, the three teams drew closer and closer, almost within arm's reach.
Shushu and Luli exchanged a glance, and were about to enter the space to hide, but Taohan stopped them: "No need to enter the space."
As Tao Han spoke, it pulled everyone to its front and protected them firmly with its two front paws.
They trusted their companions, whether it was Lu Li Shu Shu or Tian Luo, so even though they were nervous, none of them hid after it said there was no need to hide.
Everyone held their breath, quietly waiting for the arrival of those people and the giant beast.
Then, everyone noticed that the cultivators who were running ahead all came to an abrupt halt after getting close and seeing the situation clearly.
After letting out the same sharp "Ah!", they all made a 180-degree turn, aimed at the gap, and ran away.
They were so fast that they turned around almost in the blink of an eye.
Shushu's heart skipped a beat, wondering if these people had deliberately lured all those giant beasts to their doorstep.
But after she saw the three giant beasts in front of her, whose shapes had finally become visible due to their slower speed, she fell silent.
Because the giant beasts before them were none other than the renowned Taotie, Qiongqi, and Hundun, plus the little Taohan, making a total of the four great ferocious beasts.
The three giant beasts only discovered Tao Han when they got close enough.
So the three of them stopped chasing the group of cultivators and slid in to stop in front of them, then began to look Tao Han up and down.
As for Shushu Luli and the others, they were completely ignored by these three.
Tao Han, facing three pairs of piercing gazes, not only showed no fear or embarrassment, but even straightened his little back, trying to act like a little adult.
He looked at the three ferocious beasts in front of him, and a look of loving kindness unconsciously appeared in his eyes.
The oldest and most powerful of them all, Qiongqi, stepped forward and gently patted Taohan's head with his large, iron-palm-like hand.
Caught off guard, Tao Han was struck by the blow, feeling as if a thousand pounds were on his head. He couldn't hold on and was slammed down.
Then, the group of people he was protecting were in trouble. Except for Lu Li, who was quick-witted and immediately grabbed Shushu to avoid them, everyone else was pressed down by him and had their chins pushed up.
For a while, cries of "ouch, ouch" rang out everywhere.
Qiongqi, the culprit, was completely bewildered. Looking at Taohan and then at the group of little guys below, he clearly felt guilty.
With a thought, he transformed into a burly, rugged man.
With a slight lift of his hand, the burly man carefully controlled the force to lift Tao Han's chin, revealing a group of people swaying precariously beneath him.
Fortunately, everyone here is tough and resilient; although the blow hurt a bit, no one was seriously injured.
However, everyone's gaze towards Tao Han was somewhat resentful.
Tao Han, after being noticed by everyone, simply returned the resentful gaze to Qiong Qi.
Qiongqi had already put aside his embarrassment. With the attitude that he was not embarrassed, but others were, he gave Taohan a silly smile and introduced himself.
“Little Taotie, I am Qiongqi, the oldest here. You can call me Boss or Brother Qi.”
He paused, then adopted a very serious expression: "Remember, never call me 'Brother Poor,' I have a taboo against that."
Upon hearing this, Tao Han nodded and obediently greeted him, "Okay, Brother Qi." His voice still carried a distinct childishness, which made Qiong Qi feel as if his old father's heart was overflowing.
Just as he was about to say a few more words, before he could even open his mouth, he was shoved aside, and at the same time, a gentle female voice rang out: "Get out of the way, people with the surname Qiong are just in the way." It was Taotie.
After pushing Qiongqi aside, Taowu came to Taohan. She did not make any moves, but simply lowered herself so that her eyes were level with Taohan's, with a faint smile in her eyes.
“Little Taotie, I am Taotie, the second oldest. You can call me whatever you want. I don’t have as many fussy rules as someone with the surname Qiong. I’m not like a fussy mother.”
This was clearly a dig at someone. Qiongqi was not convinced, so he grabbed Taotie's tail and pulled it back: "Taotie, what do you mean? Do you want to fight?"
Taotie wasn't afraid of him at all. It turned its head to bite Qiongqi's hand while cursing, "Fine, let's fight! Who's afraid of who? Not fighting is cowardly."
"Then I'll beat you into a grandson today."
Come on.
"Come on, come on."
As soon as he finished speaking, Qiongqi transformed back into its original form and pounced on Taotie. Taotie, not to be outdone, swung its claws to meet him.
Then, right in front of everyone, the two ferocious beasts started fighting, neither giving an inch.
Fortunately, both sides were mindful of their actions and avoided interfering with each other during the fight, thus preventing any innocent bystanders from being caught in the crossfire.
But seeing the two ferocious beasts in the air fighting without a word, everyone was still somewhat speechless.
On the contrary, Chaos seemed completely unfazed, not even bothering to glance at the two of them, and went straight to Tao Han with a gentle smile: "Welcome home, little Taotie, I am Chaos."
