Chapter 464 and Xin

"The Fairy Lord of a Hundred Flowers has returned to his position."

A distant voice rang out, but Shushu and the others were completely dumbfounded, staring blankly at the peach tree not far away and the woman who had been enveloped in pink light since the voice rang out.

Even the three ferocious beasts looked equally bewildered and confused; clearly, it was the first time they had ever heard of it either.

Although we don’t yet know what’s so special about this Hundred Flowers Immortal Lord, we can be sure that the owner of the voice is undoubtedly that beautiful woman.

As a result, everyone's gaze unconsciously focused on the cloud of pink mist, waiting quietly.

Before long, the pink mist began to thin out gradually in everyone's sight.

As the last wisp of mist was completely absorbed, the woman finally opened her tightly closed eyes, just as everyone had expected.

Whether it was an illusion or not, the moment the woman opened her eyes, everyone seemed to smell the fragrance of a hundred flowers, feeling as if a hundred flowers were blooming around them, a refreshing and delightful sensation.

Before everyone could savor the aroma, it vanished, and the woman opposite them waved her hand, dispelling the barrier that had blocked their path.

In addition, an arched bridge formed by hundreds of flowers appeared on the water, one end in front of them and the other end over the peach tree.

Upon seeing the arched bridge, the peach tree became even more excited, its pink petals fluttering in the air, and its branches seemed to beckon to Shushu and the others, gesturing for them to climb up.

Seeing this, Qiongqi and Taotie took the lead and excitedly stepped onto the arched bridge.

Shushu and Luli exchanged a glance, then took hands and walked up side by side, followed by Tianluo and the others, with Chaos at the bottom.

Soon, the group arrived under the peach tree, where chairs and coffee tables had been neatly arranged according to their numbers.

The woman who had been lying on the soft couch had already sat up and looked at everyone with a smile: "Please sit down."

Since everyone had arrived, they didn't stand on ceremony and each found a place to sit down. Shushu sat down next to Lu Li as usual.

Although neither of them explicitly said it, there was a sweet atmosphere between them that was so harmonious that no one could interfere.

The woman, known as the Fairy of a Hundred Flowers, was initially just giving a routine glance, but before she knew it, she was completely absorbed in the sight.

His gaze seemed to be looking at Shushu and Luli, or perhaps through them, as if he were recalling something, his eyes filled with obvious nostalgia.

Shushu and Luli, the parties involved, were even more confused by her gaze and looked at each other in bewilderment.

However, neither of them presumptuously thought that the other had taken a liking to Lu Li.

I was curious about what the other person had remembered, but I didn't know how to bring it up.

Finally, the peach tree broke the strange atmosphere, as it stretched a branch down from above and poked the woman.

Its movements weren't particularly forceful, but they still managed to bring the woman back to her senses.

The woman first turned around and gently patted the peach tree branch to indicate that she understood. Then, she smiled apologetically at Shushu and Lu Li and said, "Sorry, I was thinking of an old friend."

She did not say who the old friend was.

Neither Shushu nor Lu Li seemed inclined to press the matter, and Shushu even politely replied, "You're too kind, Immortal Lord."

As for Lu Li, he didn't speak, but just turned his head and looked at Shushu gently, letting Shushu negotiate on his behalf.

He only glanced at the other party at the beginning to confirm their situation, and then didn't look at them again.

Just like over the years, no matter how many women he met, whether they were better or worse than Shushu, he never saw any other women besides Shushu.

He consciously maintains a distance from every woman, never crossing the line, nor allowing the other party to cross the line.

Wherever Shushu wanted to go, he would accompany her; when Shushu went on adventures, he would protect her from behind; when Shushu needed guidance, he would step forward to lead the way.

Lu Li didn't say the word 'love' aloud, but he showed it all through his actions.

Of course, this treatment is only for yams; it belongs exclusively to yams.

Okay, I've digressed. Let's get back to the present.

After expressing his indifference, Shushu looked at the other person with some curiosity: "Are you the Hundred Flowers Immortal?"

Upon hearing this, the woman opposite smiled, shook her head, and then nodded.

Seeing everyone looking at her with confusion, her smile faded slightly, replaced by a solemn expression: "I am He Xin."

Shushu repeated: "Hexin?"

Then, after the other person nodded affirmatively, she suddenly remembered something, opened her mouth wide, and her eyes were full of disbelief.

She looked at the other person, then her gaze finally settled on Lu Li, her eyes questioning.

Could it be the He Xin she imagined, the He Xin who was fiancée of Hua Shi, the former young master of the Nine Star Palace?

Lu Li clearly knew what Shushu was thinking, and couldn't help but gently pat his head before nodding affirmatively, agreeing with her guess.

He hadn't forgotten that Hou Yuanxun had said that Hua Shi's fiancée, Immortal Xin, was an immortal who had cultivated from a spiritual peony.

And since the peony is the king of flowers, it's not surprising that the other party is He Xin.

Shushu was so shocked that she didn't think of this, but now that she's calmed down, she immediately connected Lu Li's guesses to it.

The look of shock on his face turned into one of gratitude: "So you're alright."

After saying that, he realized that his words were ambiguous and quickly explained, "Please don't misunderstand, that's not what I meant. I meant that I'm so glad you're alright."

"I know." He Xin shook her head dismissively, then quickly changed the subject: "Young fellow Daoist, how did you end up hanging out with these three guys?"
