Chapter 117: Who are you targeting? (2/2)

Both of them turned their heads to look out the window. Tang Huan was half-squatting in the middle of the yard, holding incense and lighting firecrackers.

Maybe it's hard to light it. I touched it once but it didn't light up. I leaned over and touched it again...

Meng Zeyan stood in front of the main house and watched her set off firecrackers with a smile.

Tang Huan lit a firecracker with a friction firecracker, but she was afraid to rub it, as her hands were shaking so much that she couldn't light it. Meng Zeyan taught her to use fire instead, and now she's trying to light it.

After finally lighting it, Tang Huan ran towards Meng Zeyan like a little rabbit.

As soon as I ran up to him, the cannon sounded.

Grab one from Meng Zeyan's hand and run to the middle of the yard to light it.

The game lasted until almost ten o'clock, and Tang Huan was completely satisfied.

No wonder the kids like to play, in fact she likes it too.

Xing Cui and Meng Qinghe have gone back to their room to rest. The old couple goes to bed early and gets up early, one of them goes to bed early and gets up early, and the other one goes to bed early and gets up late.

Meng Zeyan had to return to the army overnight, and he told Tang Huan only after he had fired the cannon.

Tang Huan's reaction was exactly as he had guessed.

"I shouldn't have set off the fireworks and let you go earlier." Driving at daylight always gives you a better view than driving at night.

Meng Zeyan guessed her reaction and held her little face with a smile. She had been in the yard for too long, and her little face and hands were cold.

"I didn't tell you because I knew you'd let me go early. Other people's partners would act like a spoiled child and not let me go, but you were the fool who asked me to leave early. Why are you being so sensible?"

The more sensible she is, the more distressed Meng Zeyan feels. Sensible children are tempered by life.

"I can't cause you any trouble! I will be a military dependent in the future." Tang Huan tilted his head and smiled at him with curved eyebrows.

I used to think that if she was more sensible, her brother would have less worries. But as time went by, I got used to it.

No wonder there is a saying that steel can be made soft even after being tempered a hundred times. Meng Zeyan found that he didn't want to take the next step to leave.

Holding her little face in his hands, Tang Huan reached out and grasped the backs of his hands, shaking his head from side to side. "Go pack your things quickly. I'll take you to the car later."

I really want to take her away with me.

Reluctantly letting go of her hand, Meng Zeyan turned back to the house and took out the bag he had packed long ago.

Tang Huan was still standing in the yard waiting. As soon as Meng Zeyan came out, he ran over and held his hand, reluctant to let him go.

Holding his hand, I walked towards the gate. My steps were slow but the distance was indeed short.

After putting the things in the car, Meng Zeyan turned around and hugged Tang Huan in his arms. Time flies! Xiao Huan quickly graduated from high school.

"I will miss you." Tang Huan buried his head in his chest and said in a muffled voice.

She already started missing him before he even started leaving!

She is undoubtedly a love-brained person!

"If Dad says anything inappropriate again, remember to call me." Meng Zeyan had a lot to worry about. "Don't keep things to yourself. If you can't find me for something you can't solve, go find Tang Shuo. I'll submit the application tomorrow. Don't regret it, okay?"

Listening to Meng Zeyan's instructions one after another, Tang Huan held his waist tighter.

It was annoying. After saying so much, she was even more reluctant to let him go.

"I won't regret it."

What did she have to regret? A young widow married a man who had never been married before and was a soldier.

Unable to linger any longer, Tang Huan forced himself to let him go, "Hurry up and go, the journey will take another two hours!"

We left at 10 o'clock and arrived a little after 12 o'clock, so we could still sleep for about six hours. This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
