"Introduced." Tang Shuo laughed, remembering the scene when Wei Ye brought the little girl and said he wanted to introduce her to him. "That little girl is not suitable for me."
The little girl was not even as old as Tang Huan, and to Tang Shuo she looked like an underage girl.
Tang Huan nodded, "What kind do you like? I'll keep an eye out for you~"
Tang Shuo stood up and ruffled her hair again. "Don't worry about me. Just figure out your own problems and wait for me to come back."
After saying that, he turned around and walked out of the kitchen, going to the main house to say goodbye to Xing Cui.
I don’t want to delay too long for the afternoon train ticket.
Tang Huan followed him, not mentioning anything about her boyfriend. Her brother looked quite carefree, but in reality he was a clumsy person. If he didn't want to talk about something, no one would bother asking.
She could only make guesses based on her understanding of him.
When Xing Cui heard that he was leaving, she was really fed up and wanted to pull him away. "How long have you been here? You're leaving already? Auntie is stewing fish for lunch. Wait until after dinner."
There's no way this kid can carry so many things and only sit for a short while!
"Aunt, I don't have enough time. I have to go to the train station. I'll come to your house to taste your cooking when I come back from the south. Don't think I'm annoying then." Tang Shuo refused with a smile. He came just to see his sister.
I don’t know how long it will take me to come back from the south. If I don’t come to see her, I will always miss her.
"Then wait a moment, I'll get you some cooked food for the train." Xing Cui hurriedly ran into the kitchen to get it.
Xiao Huan told me last night that Tang Shuo would be taking a train today, and she had already prepared cooked food for the child to eat on the train.
There were two lunch boxes and a paper bag. One box contained slices of braised pork, while the other contained a meat sauce made by stir-frying dried radish, chili peppers, and minced meat. The paper bag contained the pancakes she had baked that morning.
Handing the lunch box and paper bag to Tang Shuo, Xing Cui specifically instructed him: "Auntie specially added oil pastry inside this pancake. It can be split in the middle with a light break. It is especially delicious when you eat it with dried radish and braised meat. I brought this for Zeyan when he went to the army."
Later, Meng Zeyan wrote a letter saying that he made the other comrades who went with him envious along the way.
Holding the lunch box and paper bag, Tang Shuo's eyes were touched and his voice was gentle: "Thank you, auntie."
His parents died too early, and he hasn't felt so cared for by his elders for a long time.
"Hey, we're family, so there's no need to be so reserved. You're Xiaohuan's brother, so I treat you like half my son." Xing Cui said with a smile.
She likes to worry about the younger ones, and her busy and nagging days make her life interesting.
Tang Huan and Xing Cui sent Tang Shuo out the door together. Tang Huan kept muttering, "Brother, come back soon after you finish dealing with it. Remember to call me if you have anything. If you don't want to sell it, don't sell it. It's okay to stay in the south. I can go to college there."
You have to take good care of yourself. Don't ask for grace or warmth, and don't always think about me. I can take care of myself."
All the way to the entrance of the alley, Tang Huan kept talking and kept giving instructions.
No one knew except herself, but it was only after she met her brother that she felt a sense of belonging in this world.
It was like she had a backer, she was not afraid of anything because her brother was there.
She is not afraid if the sky falls and no one helps her, because her brother will definitely help her.
To put it bluntly, Tang Shuo really acted like both a father and a mother to her, and his existence was like home to her.
I know he's only gone for a short while and will be back soon, but my reluctance to leave hasn't diminished in the slightest. This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
