Chapter 19 Drinking (2/2)

"Eat." She was asked if she wanted to eat the eggs right after they were fried. It was obvious that her mother-in-law loved her very much!

But why is she so happy? And singing!

Taking a small bowl and picking out a few pieces, Xing Cui handed the bowl to Tang Huan and also gave her a pair of chopsticks.

She ate eggs from a small bowl, and Xing Cui turned around to continue working and singing.

"Mom, you sing beautifully." Tang Huan is a sweet-mouthed person.

Xing Cui was surprised to find someone who understood her. "Right? When Mom was young, she was the mainstay of our factory's cultural evenings."

Tang Huan could see that her mother-in-law was really in a good mood and was not pretending...

When Meng Qinghe came home from get off work, none of the three told him what happened at home.

While eating, he asked his wife curiously why she was in such a good mood.

Xing Cui glanced at him. How could this old man know that she was in a good mood? What nonsense!

After greeting her husband, Xing Cui glanced towards Tang Huan's position and happened to see her daughter-in-law's confused and aggrieved look.

The child said he wanted to move away. She was already sad, so how could she be happy?

Xing Cui hurriedly explained: "Xiao Huan, don't listen to your dad's nonsense. Mom is very sad!"

If she could show a little sadness when she said this, Tang Huan would believe it!

Meng Qinghe didn't understand, "What are you sad about, dear?"

Meng Zeyan: "Dad, do you want some wine? I'll get it for you."

"drink!"

Is there such a good thing? Normally, Meng Qinghe has to ask for permission if he wants to drink some wine.

With the wine in hand, Meng Qinghe had no time to find out why Xing Cui was sad.

The wine smelled really good, but Meng Zeyan just took two wine glasses.

Tang Huan glanced at the wine bottle secretly, and tried to endure it again and again, but finally decided not to endure it anymore!

She wants to drink too.

Tang Huan stood up and trotted back to the main room, took out a wine glass, and placed it on the table in front of him with his head lowered.

She has already placed the wine glasses on the table. My uncle and father-in-law should be able to understand what she means, right?

The bottle of wine was next to Meng Zeyan, and he poured a glass for Lao Meng and himself.

Unexpectedly, Tang Huan also took out a wine glass. He didn't have the idea that female comrades couldn't drink. He didn't give them wine glasses because Xing Cui didn't drink, and he didn't know whether Tang Huan would drink or not.

He picked up the wine bottle and filled the glass in front of Tang Huan.

When drinking among family members, there is no need to clink glasses or toast. Just drink slowly by yourself.

The aroma emanating from the wine glass was stronger than anything he had smelled before. Tang Huan picked up the glass and took a small sip to taste it first.

There is a spicy feeling when you first drink it, and as it flows down your throat, the spicy taste gradually dissipates, leaving an indescribable mellow fragrance in your mouth.

It tastes quite good.

With one sip after another, the small wine glass was soon empty.

Tang Huan put the wine glass back on the table. She saw that after her father-in-law finished drinking, her uncle would take the initiative to refill his glass.

She finished her drink, and her uncle should have filled her glass.

Meng Zeyan did pour her another glass, intending to remind her to drink slowly and eat while she did so.

He thought about it and said nothing.

Pick up the wine glass and continue to taste it, it tastes better and better.

After another glass of wine, Tang Huan put down his glass again.

Meng Zeyan didn't know whether he should continue pouring. Tang Huan drank too fast and he was afraid she would get drunk.

Watching Tang Huan drinking cup after cup, Meng Qinghe silently quickened his pace. This wine was his treasure, and there was only one bottle left!

Having not seen anyone pour wine for a long time, Tang Huan looked up at Meng Zeyan and said in a timid tone, "I want more~." This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
