Chapter 47, A Small Test (2/2)

After capping the pen, Tang Huan held the notebook and smiled gratefully, "Thank you so much, brother. I wouldn't be able to write if it weren't for you!"

Meng Zeyan looked at her. Her eyes were clear, without any distractions. She saw his presence in them, but only in them.

He couldn't help but test it: "What do you think of the lesbians Mom mentioned?"

The smile faded, and the next second it grew even wider, Tang Huan said with a smile: "It's good, the female comrades are good-looking.

...You two are in the army and the other in the art troupe, so it's quite a coincidence."

Tang Huan's words were particularly sincere because he didn't want others to see his shameful thoughts.

At least at this moment she really felt that they were quite suitable for each other and looked very compatible.

Even though he knew that she had no feelings for him, he still felt a little depressed when he heard her words.

"Sun Qiyang also said that you and him have a good connection." Meng Zeyan was not a petty person. When he heard her say that they had a connection, he suddenly blurted out this sentence.

Tang Huan was stunned. Weren't they talking about lesbians? Why was there also a mention of Sun Qiyang? "When he said fate, he probably meant we happened to run into each other a few times. Before today, he and I weren't really friends."

She didn't know what to say either. There is a difference between being destined and having a destiny.

"Are there any other homework?" Meng Zeyan looked at her and asked.

He changed the subject so quickly. Tang Huan nodded, picked up his notebook and pen, and stood up. "I'll go back and do my other homework first."

Meng Zeyan also stood up and said, "Go."

Tang Huan took the things back to the room, closed the door and sat down at the desk.

She left early and the teacher hadn't assigned homework yet, so where would the other homework come from?

He took out a test paper from his schoolbag and spread it on the table. Holding the pen with the cap still on, Tang Huan looked at the questions on the paper.

Judging from her posture, you would think she was studying very hard. But in fact, she had no idea what the questions on the paper were, not even what subject it was about.

I don’t know what’s going on in my mind. It seems like I’m thinking, but it also seems like I’m just letting my mind wander.

She has never been in a relationship but has watched many TV dramas. She has zero experience in love but has a good theoretical knowledge.

Tang Huan could tell what the secret thoughts in her heart were, but she herself didn't know when they started to arise.

She herself knew that Meng Zeyan was a very outstanding person, and it was normal for a female comrade to have feelings for him.

But she was the only one who had the wrong idea, as the relationship between them was too taboo.

Now that she has discovered it, Tang Huan will not allow this out-of-control thought to develop any further. She will bury it deep in her heart and let it slowly disappear.

Tang Huan sat there until after nine o'clock before he slowly came to his senses and started doing the questions.

After finishing a math test, I prepared to wash up and go to bed.

I picked up the thermos on the desk, and it was empty.

Before, her mother-in-law always filled the thermos during the day and she used it at night.

Tang Huan picked up the thermos and went out of the house, then went into the kitchen. She prepared to boil some hot water for herself.

There are two kinds of stoves in the kitchen, one is a coal briquette stove and the other is a wood-burning stove.

When she boiled water, her mother-in-law usually used firewood. Tang Huan had seen her light a fire, and she usually put a layer of firewood at the bottom, then a layer of corn cobs, and finally corn husks on top.

First light the corn husk with a match, then ignite the layers below.

After laying out the firewood, corn cobs and corn husks, Tang Huan found matches next to the stove.

Take out a match and strike it hard on the side, and it will instantly burst into flames. This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
