Finally, he withdrew his hand and called her, "Xiao Huan, we're at school."
He didn't sleep deeply on the way from home to school, so he slowly opened his eyes and woke up when he called Tang Huan.
After waking up for a few seconds, he sat up straight and said, "Then I'll be leaving first."
"Okay." Meng Zeyan looked at her in the rearview mirror and responded gently.
He moved to the car door, pushed it open, and stepped out of the car. His movements were quite smooth.
But he froze when closing the car door.
She didn't bring her schoolbag...
Meng Zeyan seemed to have noticed this problem and suggested in time: "There are still twenty minutes before class. Should we go get it?"
"No, my deskmate and I can share one." As for homework, just tell the teacher and you can pick it up at noon.
Unexpectedly, Meng Zeyan said, "I'll bring it to you later?"
He asked a question, but Tang Huan heard it as an affirmation. He would definitely send it to her.
Tang Huan lifted his feet and sat back in the car, "Let's go get it now."
With a smile on his lips, Meng Zeyan turned the car around swiftly.
This time Tang Huan didn't fall asleep. She leaned in the back seat and looked down at her fingers.
"Qiu Zhigang wanted me to ask you if you're looking for a partner." Meng Zeyan's voice rang out in the car. "I'm not going to ask for him."
Tang Huan was distracted. Hearing this, he looked forward and met the gaze of the person in the rearview mirror.
"Yeah." She nodded to show that she understood, then lowered her eyes.
Meng Zeyan also withdrew his gaze and focused on driving.
After arriving at the door of his house, Tang Huan got out of the car, ran back to the house to get his schoolbag, and then ran back to the car.
The two of them didn't speak anymore. Tang Huan didn't dare to think about what Meng Zeyan meant by that, for fear of overthinking it.
Maybe he just felt it was inappropriate to ask someone else's brother or sister if they were thinking of finding a partner.
Or maybe he felt that the two of them were not suitable.
There were too many reasons, and Tang Huan didn't dare to think about the most unlikely one.
This time the car didn't stop at the bus stop, but parked next to the school. It was almost time for class, and there were no students near the school.
Tang Huan got out of the car and said to the car: "Brother, I'm leaving first."
After saying that, he closed the car door and ran towards the school gate.
Meng Zeyan sat in the car and watched her run away. Did she really not have any curiosity? Why didn't she ask? Why didn't she help?
Or does she not care?
If she really asked, what should he say?
After thinking about it, Meng Zeyan laughed at himself and drove away.
Tang Huan ran into the classroom, but before he sat down, the bell rang.
Feng Sisi secretly gave her a thumbs up. She thought she would have to ask for leave again today!
The morning reading was Chinese. Tang Huan took out the textbook and began to read aloud.
Everything was fine at first. Perhaps the sound of his classmates reading had a hypnotic effect, and Tang Huan began to slowly lower his head.
Whenever the teacher passed by, Feng Sisi would quickly nudge Tang Huan with her elbow, and she would immediately sit up straight and read aloud.
After pretending for a few seconds, he continued to crush the garlic.
Tang Huan slept well after the morning reading, but Feng Sisi was exhausted. She was now just a sentry.
As soon as the bell rang, Tang Huan lay down on the table and fell asleep.
Feng Sisi asked her if she had been a thief last night, but she didn't hear him.
When the bell rang, Tang Huan finally opened his eyes and rubbed them hard to wake himself up.
Listening to lectures in class and sleeping after class was Tang Huan's school state that day. She didn't eat lunch at lunch time and used it to catch up on her sleep. This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
