Chapter 81, Tang Shuo leaves (2/2)

If she wasn’t his biological sister, how could she remember what size shoes he wore?

After putting away his shoes, Tang Shuo walked forward with his things in hand. When he looked up, he saw a person standing in front of him. He must have been looking at him for quite a while.

He glanced at the lively crowd and walked past him without looking away, his face as calm as possible.

But I was already cursing in my heart, what are you looking at? Haven't you seen people changing shoes?

After seeing the man's face clearly, Wei also felt that he looked familiar. After realizing it, he became curious. Why did this person look so much like Sister Tang Huan?

When he turned around again, the man had already gotten on the rickshaw, and he could only see the small tuft of hair on the back of his head.

There are very few men who tie their hair these days...

Wei hadn't run into Tang Huan for a few days since he last saw the excitement in the store. Before, he would sometimes meet him in the morning or evening.

Turning back from the alley, Tang Huan raised his head slightly, not daring to let the tears in his eyes fall down, which would easily cause tears on his face.

When she reached the gate, she was blocked by someone. Meng Zeyan was standing there waiting for her.

Tang Huan looked at him with watery eyes, tears about to fall, as if she would cry as soon as he spoke.

Meng Zeyan had never coaxed a female comrade before. Seeing her tearful face, he asked her softly, "Shall I take you to the movies?"

He didn't know what Tang Huan liked to do. He usually only heard her talk about watching movies and shopping.

Shaking his head, more tears gathered in Tang Huan's eyes. One teardrop rolled down, and then another one slid down.

Tears slid down her cheeks, leaving two tear marks, and she hurriedly reached out to wipe them away.

It’s over, my face is going to turn into a potato skin!

Tears are like this. When there is no one to comfort you, you can hold them back, but once someone comforts you, you can't control them anymore.

This was the first time Meng Zeyan felt so clueless. He wanted to wipe her tears but couldn't. He wanted to say something to comfort her, but his mouth suddenly became clumsy.

"Xiao Huan, don't cry."

Tang Huan didn't want to cry either. Across time and space, her brother was still her brother, and this was something to be happy about.

"I am happy. I thought I would never see him again." She explained in a tearful voice.

"I know." Tang Huan was happier today than any other day. How could Meng Zeyan not see it? He said to her gently, "Go back to the house first, otherwise your face will be cracked by the wind."

Unable to go into her room, Meng Zeyan grabbed her wrist and took her into the kitchen.

He asked her to sit in the kitchen while he walked out of the kitchen and went to the main house.

A minute later he pushed the door open and walked into the kitchen.

Tang Huan sat there watching him busy with tears in her eyes. He poured hot water to soak the handkerchief, and handed the warm handkerchief to Tang Huan.

"Wipe your face, or it will hurt soon." The wind in winter is the strongest. It hurts when it blows on your face, let alone when you are crying.

Her eyelashes were soaked, her eyes and nose were red, and she looked so pitiful.

Tang Huan took the handkerchief and wiped her face silently. After she finished wiping, she returned the handkerchief to Meng Zeyan.

After taking the handkerchief and putting it aside, Meng Zeyan took out the cold cream from his pocket, unscrewed it, and handed it to Tang Huan.

Brand new vanishing cream, no one has used it yet.

She scooped out some cold cream with her white and tender fingers and slowly spread it evenly on her face.

The tears were no longer falling as much, but moisture was slowly gathering in the eye sockets.

Meng Zeyan picked up the handkerchief and walked over to warm it up. After hesitating with the handkerchief in his hand, he reached out to help her wipe her eyes.

His voice was deep and magnetic: "Xiao Huan, I heard him call you 'Huan Bao'." This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
