It would be best if matchmaking for him could work out, as it would be a good connection for him. If it doesn't work out, he wouldn't dare offend anyone.
Captain Liu coughed dryly and said earnestly, "Fei Fei, female comrades should still be reserved."
Qian Feifei was asking Meng Zeyan, but before Meng Zeyan could say anything, her brother-in-law came out to make trouble again.
Does he really want to help her find a match?
"Brother-in-law, don't say anything! I'm asking Captain Meng~" Qian Feifei was determined to find Meng Zeyan to ask for clarification. She even stood up and looked down at the sitting Meng Zeyan, staring at him and asking, "Captain Meng, you don't have a partner and neither do I. I think we're a good match. Can you date me?"
She was so brave that she easily said what Tang Huan had never dared to say.
Meng Zeyan finally looked up at her, but he apologized softly, "I'm sorry, Comrade Qian, the person I met is not you."
He had originally intended to refuse in a subtle way, to save face for everyone and the woman, but Qian Feifei was the type to get to the bottom of things, so he had to explain himself.
Normally, that's enough, but Qian Feifei has been thinking about Meng Zeyan for more than a month. During this month, she asked many people about Meng Zeyan's situation, and they all said that he was single, had no partner, and didn't show that he had anyone he liked.
As soon as he opened his mouth and said that he had someone he liked, Qian Feifei couldn't help but feel curious: "You have someone you like?"
It doesn’t matter that she didn’t succeed. No one else has succeeded anyway, so she can accept it.
But if she didn't succeed, but someone else did, then she would feel uncomfortable.
Meng Zeyan nodded. Tang Huan pinched the fingers of his left hand with his right hand, his eyelashes trembling constantly. He felt inexplicably guilty...
Qian Feifei asked questions one after another: "What does she do? How old is she? Is she pretty?"
Not liking this kind of endless entanglement, Meng Zeyan looked at Captain Liu and prepared to say goodbye.
"If nothing unexpected happens, she will be a doctor in the future. She is 20 years old this year and looks pretty good." Tang Huan spoke in a low voice but clear tone.
Qian Feifei then looked at the female comrade sitting next to Meng Zeyan, who had seemed to have little presence from beginning to end, and asked, "Are you Captain Meng's sister?"
Tang Huan shook his head, "I'm not his sister. There are no daughters in his family."
Qian Feifei didn't ask any more questions. She glared at her and turned to go to the kitchen to find her sister and mother. Asking any further would only bring humiliation upon herself.
It doesn't look like these two are simple people, huh!
Captain Liu was holding a teapot in his hand and adding tea to Meng Zeyan. For a moment, he really didn't know what to say, as if he knew something extraordinary.
But he couldn't tell anyone else. Only a few people present knew about it. If anyone else knew about it, he would be implicated...
"Don't be offended, Captain Meng. I was foolish in what I did today. I'll have a few more drinks to make amends later!"
Meng Zeyan smiled and picked up the teacup, saying with a smile: "Captain Liu, you're welcome!"
His smile was so obvious that Tang Huan's ears felt hot. He tried to remain calm and stood up to say goodbye to Captain Liu. "Captain Liu, you guys chat. I have something to do, so I'll go back first."
"Stay and have dinner together. The meal will be ready soon." Captain Liu tried to persuade them to stay.
Tang Huan smiled lightly and shook his head, then turned and walked towards the door. "Don't bother, I'll go home and eat."
