Chapter 45 Hospital 3 (1/2)

Meng Zeyan stood up to pay the bill. Tang Huan waited for him to pay and then stood up and walked back together.

When the two of them walked to the hospital entrance, they happened to run into a family of three with gauze wrapped around their heads, who were coming out of the hospital.

Wei Ye's luck was both good and bad. The bad thing was that he met a seriously injured patient as soon as he arrived at the hospital. The doctor was busy treating the patient's wounds and asked him to wait for a while.

The good thing was that the injured person's wound had already scabbed over before the doctor finished treating him. The nurse wiped the blood off the wound and applied some medicine, and he was able to leave.

But Wu Ying was unwilling to leave and insisted on waiting for the doctor to finish examining the injured person before prescribing some expensive medicine.

If he couldn't buy the job, he would have to extort money from the Meng family.

This has delayed it until now, and now I meet Meng Zeyan when I go out.

Wu Ying thought the two men were visiting her son at the hospital. She swallowed back her anger and finally uttered, "I've never seen anyone come so late after hurting someone. They don't even show any apology."

Wei Ye smiled apologetically at Meng Zeyan, "Brother Zeyan, when did you come back? Don't listen to my mother's nonsense. This is not Sister Tang Huan's fault."

Wei is also a few years younger than Meng Zeyu. It is not appropriate for her to call Tang Huan by her name directly, and calling her sister-in-law sounds a bit weird, so she simply calls her sister.

"It's really not her fault. How's the wound on your head? It's not serious, right?" Meng Zeyan ignored Aunt Wu and asked Wei Ye.

His impression of Wei Ye was still that of the little brat who followed him and Ze Yu and called them brother, but in the blink of an eye he has grown up.

Wei also shook his head. "It's not serious, just a minor wound. Sister Tang Huan doesn't have much strength, so she didn't hit him hard."

Wu Ying quietly grabbed Wei Ye's clothes. "What did this kid say? Didn't he tell me then? He told his family it was serious and he needed stitches. He wanted them to pay him back. He made so much money from selling his work, so a hundred dollars wouldn't be too much."

Wei pretended not to understand what she meant, and secretly pulled his clothes back on with his hanging hands.

Since he said it wasn't serious, Meng Zeyan nodded, "Then come with me upstairs to see my mom. She's been hospitalized because of the anger."

"Aunt Xing is in the hospital?" Wei was also surprised, and now he felt even more guilty. "Brother Zeyan, tell me the ward number. I'll buy some things and go up to see Aunt Xing."

Good guy didn't get the blackmail, but this damn guy still wants to get involved!

Wu Ying couldn't hold it in any longer. Even if it made Meng Zeyan angry, she had to say, "Wasn't he fine when we left? How come he's in the hospital just like that?"

The implication is that she got sick after we left. Who knows if she was faking it or if it was real? Even if it was real, it had nothing to do with their family.

Meng Zeyan glanced at her with a half-smile, "Aunt Wu, being hospitalized is not a good thing."

Wu Ying unconsciously took a half step back and reached out to grab Wei Dapeng, who didn't say a word. "Your son is going to see someone. Let's go home first."

Wei Dapeng moved his lips, but without saying a word, he followed Wu Ying.

The couple left if they wanted to. Meng Zeyan ignored them and said to Wei Ye, "No need to buy anything, just go up."

Their Aunt Wu is domineering and sarcastic, and Uncle Wei is cowardly and indecisive, but Wei is also an upright and sensible person.

The two families lived close to each other, and when they were young, Meng Zeyan often took him and Meng Zeyu to play together. Even though they hadn't seen each other much after growing up, they were still a little closer.

Two people became three people. Tang Huan quickened her pace and walked in front, while the two walked behind her.

Along the way, Wei was telling Meng Zeyan the causes and consequences of this conflict.

He went to university in another province and was assigned a job there. His mother complained that the job was too far from home, the pay was low, and the work was tiring, so she insisted that he come back.
