Chapter 11 Delicious meat buns (1/2)

"Come and eat the hot buns." Qian Chunhua placed the meat buns on a stone beside him, gently lifted the lotus leaves, and called out to everyone enthusiastically.

"Wow, there are meat buns to eat!" Zhao Qingfeng ran over excitedly upon hearing that. Looking at the fragrant meat buns, his saliva almost flowed down.

As far as he can remember, the number of times he could eat meat buns throughout the year was very few, and he could only taste one each time.

It’s nothing like now, with a whole pile of buns right in front of me.

Zhao Xiaoling's eyes also lit up as she looked at the buns.

However, Zhao Qingsong and Qian Xingshan were a little hesitant. They couldn't believe that they would have a share of such precious buns.

"Come on, there are so many, let's eat together." Qian Chunhua understood their concerns and took the initiative to go over and pull the two of them over.

"Eat it while it's hot. You're welcome." Qian Chunhua greeted warmly.

Until this moment, Zhao Qingsong and Qian Xingshan dared to believe that Qian Chunhua was sincerely letting them eat the buns.

Although the two wanted to be polite and refuse to eat, the greed and the smell of the buns were too tempting. They swallowed their saliva, wiped their hands on their pants shyly, and then picked up the buns.

"Delicious, so delicious..." Zhao Qingfeng praised the food as he devoured it.

Zhao Qingsong and Zhao Xiaoling also ate with gusto, nodded repeatedly, and were so busy that they didn't even have time to talk.

In comparison, although Qian Xingshan was a little older and his eating manners were a little more refined, he also ate like a whirlwind and finished a bun in just three or two bites.

"Eat slowly, don't choke." Qian Chunhua reminded.

It is not convenient to take out water from the space under the current circumstances. Qian Chunhua can only remind everyone to eat slowly.

After Qian Xingshan finished one, he felt a little embarrassed to take another one, but Qian Chunhua took the initiative to hand him one, "Eat quickly, I know how much you eat."

After the three children finished one, Qian Chunhua took the initiative to hand them another one.

In the end, the three children each ate three, but Qian Xingshan ate one and refused to eat any more.

Qian Chunhua carefully wrapped the remaining buns with lotus leaves and handed them to Qian Xingshan.

"Take these back and let mother try them." Her voice was extremely firm.

Qian Xingshan waved his hands hurriedly, shaking his head like a rattle. "Sister, you haven't eaten yet, you still have to take it back to your parents-in-law."

Qian Chunhua smiled and said softly, "I had already eaten it when my father bought it. You take these. I know what's going on."

Without giving Qian Xingshan a chance to refuse, Qian Chunhua stuffed the bun into his hands.

"Okay, it's time for us to go back." She picked up Zhao Qingfeng, took Zhao Xiaoling's hand, and prepared to walk down the mountain.

Qian Xingshan had no choice but to hide the buns in his backpack and cover them with some wild vegetables.

"Sister, I'm leaving first." He picked up the backpack and ran hurriedly down the mountain.

Qian Chunhua looked at his back, smiled and shouted, "Go back and tell mom that I'll go see her when I have time."

Qian Xingshan waved in front of him, indicating that he had heard it.

Qian Chunhua already had a plan in mind. Now that she was separated from her husband's family, she would definitely have more contact with her parents' family.

In this rural area, a single woman with three children would inevitably become the target of bullying by neighbors if she had no support from relatives and friends.

She understood all of this.

As long as her mother's family is not too bad, Qian Chunhua is willing to lend a helping hand and give them a hand.

Qian Chunhua held Zhao Qingfeng in one hand and Zhao Xiaoling in the other, and after walking down the mountain for a while, they realized that something was missing - Zhao Qingsong did not keep up with them.

She turned around and saw the eight-year-old child, carrying a heavy backpack filled with pig grass that was almost as tall as himself, staggering and struggling to catch up with them.

The weight of the backpack made him stagger with every step, as if he would fall at any time.

Qian Chunhua didn't know why, but suddenly she felt a surge of heartache. She stopped, put Qingfeng down, and let Zhao Xiaoling hold her brother's hand.

She returned to Zhao Qingsong and said softly, "Qingsong, this backpack is too heavy. Let Second Aunt carry it."

Zhao Qingsong was startled by this sudden concern. He quickly waved his hand to refuse: "No... No need, Second Aunt, I can do it."
