The handwriting is elegant yet powerful.
The saleswoman's smile widened, and she quickly took the contract, saying, "I'll arrange the follow-up procedures right away. Please wait a moment."
Lin Li stood up and walked to the French windows again.
The sprinkler in the courtyard was still spinning, and the water droplets refracted a rainbow of colors in the sunlight.
She recalled the phoenix tree she had seen in the garden earlier, imagining how it would bloom next year, and the smile on her lips deepened.
The saleswoman worked quickly and completed all the formalities before sunset!
After deciding to buy the villa, Lin Li sent Xiao Chen back home.
From then on, this became her home in Shenzhen.
After paying the down payment, the HK$100,000 she had just earned from Mr. Yu was all gone, and she still had to make mortgage payments every month.
However, Lin Li is not worried. At her current rate of earning money, the monthly mortgage payment will not have a significant impact on her.
When Lin Li redefined Shenzhen's location to this place, she had a sudden thought to return to her courtyard house in Beijing.
When she appeared in the courtyard, she startled Lin Hu and Lin Yao, who had just returned home from school.
Then they happily jumped around her, shouting, "Grandma, you're back!"
“Hmm,” Lin Li took out the gifts she bought for them from Hong Kong from her spatial storage, “This is Tiger’s.”
She took out a half-person-high model airplane, its silver-gray fuselage gleaming with a metallic sheen, and four small missile models hanging under its wings.
Wow~~~ It's so beautiful!
Lin Hu's eyes lit up instantly, and he carefully touched the propeller with his finger. "Ah Ming's dad brought one back from abroad, and it's half the size of this one!"
He suddenly remembered something, turned around and took out a certificate from his schoolbag: "Grandma, look, I got first place in the class in math."
Lin Li accepted the certificate, smiled, and patted his head, "Not bad, little guy, you're getting better and better!"
Upon hearing this, Lin Hu's eyes crinkled with laughter.
Lin Yao looked at the airplane in Lin Hu's hand with envy so much that his eyes turned green. He raised his head, his eyes filled with longing.
"Yaoyao has one too," Lin Li said, taking out a toy train model she had bought for Lin Yao from her spatial storage and handing it to him. "Do you like it?"
Lin Yao took the train model and examined it carefully.
The front of the vehicle is bright yellow, and the carriage is printed with cartoon patterns. When you press the switch, the wheels start to turn with a "clanging" sound, accompanied by a crisp whistle.
Lin Yao's eyes widened, and he clapped his little hands on the locomotive. Suddenly, he giggled and gave Lin Li a sweet smile.
"Grandma, I love it!"
The two little ones picked up their toys and started playing, while Lin Li slowly walked into the kitchen.
"Grandma, I've heated up dinner. Uncle said he has something to do today and won't be back until later."
Lin Hu put down the airplane in his hand and jogged to the kitchen.
Lin Li watched as he took out steaming food from the pot, which included scrambled eggs with tomatoes, black chicken soup, and braised pork.
Lin Yao also rushed over to help carry the bowls and chopsticks.
"Grandma, I'll stir-fry some shredded potatoes too, it'll be quick."
Lin Hu opened the refrigerator, took out two potatoes, and was about to start washing and peeling them when Lin Li called him back.
"No need, Grandma, we have some food here. Let's take this food to the main room first!"
"Okay!"
Lin Hu responded happily, put the potatoes back in the refrigerator, picked up the braised pork and scrambled eggs with tomatoes from the stove, and walked into the main room.
Lin Li served the black chicken soup, and Lin Yao followed her into the main room with three sets of bowls and chopsticks.
After putting down the two plates of food he was carrying, Lin Hu ran back to the kitchen and brought over the rice.
While he went to get the food, Lin Li took out a plate of fresh, sweet boiled shrimp and stir-fried sea snails from her spatial storage and placed them on the table.
Four dishes and a soup, enough for the three of them!
The three of them chatted while eating.
The two little ones happily reported to Lin Li about the praise they had received and the funny things that happened among their classmates.
Hearing this, Lin Li was so happy that she ate half a bowl more rice.
After finishing their meal, Lin Hu and Lin Yao cleaned up the dishes and then walked over to Lin Li.
"Grandma, I took Yao Yao to school!"
"Go! Take the fruit and milk from the table inside."
"OK!"
The two little ones skipped and hopped from the table in the main room, picked up the fruit and milk, and obediently went back to their room to study.
Lin Li sat in a rocking chair in the courtyard, looking at the starry sky, enjoying the evening breeze, and eating fruit with her eyes half-closed.
Comfortable!
Around 8 p.m., Lin Laosan returned from outside.
When he saw Lin Li, he was about to call out "Mom" when he suddenly remembered something. He immediately pushed his bicycle into the yard, closed the gate, and quickly went to Lin Li's side, who was almost asleep.
"Mom, you're back!" she called out softly and happily.
Lin Li opened her eyes and looked at Lin Laosan's tired face. "Hmm, you're back. What have you been doing? You've made yourself look so haggard."
Lin Laosan moved a small wooden stool over and sat down next to Lin Li, letting out a soft sigh.
"Professor Chen took on a new research project and pulled me into the project team. I'm currently spending day and night in the lab doing various experiments..."
Before he could finish his smug complaint, Lin Li raised her hand to stop him.
"Professor Chen is doing this for your own good, so just focus on working hard!"
Lin Laosan: ...He knew that if the parents and teachers got along well, he would be the one who suffered!
Upon hearing Lin Laosan's voice, the two children also ran out of the room.
"Grandma, Third Uncle..."
