The en suite bathroom features light-colored tiles, with the shower area and bathtub designed separately.
Lin Laosan peeked out and couldn't help but exclaim "Wow!"
"And there's a bathtub too!"
Lin Li smiled at him and asked, "Do you like this place?"
Lin Laosan nodded vigorously, then hesitated and looked into the depths of the corridor.
"But I'd like to look at the other rooms; maybe there are better ones."
Lin Li's eyes were full of doting: "Go ahead, take a look at them all, and choose your favorite."
Lin Hu and Lin Yao had already reached the door of the second room.
As soon as the butler pushed open the door, Lin Hu couldn't help but exclaim in surprise.
This room is bigger than the previous one, and it not only has a private bathroom, but also a small walk-in closet.
The wardrobe features sliding doors, and the mirrored doors reflect the light in the room, making it appear exceptionally spacious.
"How many clothes can this wardrobe hold?!"
Lin Hu gestured with his hand.
"This bed looks so soft, much more comfortable than the one at home."
Lin Yao was drawn to the balcony in the room. He pushed open the glass door and walked onto the balcony, which faced the koi pond in the courtyard, where he could clearly see the koi swimming.
"Brother Tiger, look, you can see fish here!"
He waved excitedly to Lin Hu, then looked down at the anti-slip mat on the balcony floor.
"It's not slippery even when it rains, and it'll definitely be cool to sit here in the evening with the breeze."
Lin Hu walked over and patted him on the shoulder.
"This room is nice, I like it very much."
Then everyone followed Lin Li to the third room.
This room has a warmer style, with light blue walls.
A picture of the starry sky hangs above the bed, and there are star-shaped lamps on the ceiling.
"With the lights on at night, it will definitely look like stargazing!"
Lin Yao ran to the bedside and plopped down on it.
The spring mattress made a slight "creaking" sound, and its soft touch made him want to bounce on it.
"Grandma, this bed is so soft!"
He turned to look at Lin Li, his little face full of joy.
Lin Li walked to the window, pushed it open, and fresh air rushed in.
"This room has good natural light and is close to the stairs."
She noticed a small alarm clock on the bedside table, shaped like a cartoon bear, indicating that the previous occupants were also families with children.
Lin Yao leaned on the windowsill and looked down, where he could see the lawn in the courtyard. Several servants were mowing the lawn, their movements neat and uniform.
"Grandma, I live here."
"Okay! I'm glad you like it!"
The butler stood by, smiling as he recorded their choices.
"I will arrange for the servants to take everyone's luggage to their rooms right away. The sheets and blankets have all been changed. Please let me know if you need anything."
Lin Yao couldn't wait to start looking around his new room.
He kept touching the lamp, glancing at the wardrobe, and muttering to himself.
"Great! I'll live here from now on!"
Lin Li watched as the three of them each found their preferred rooms, and her smile deepened.
"Alright, let's pack our things and rest for a bit. We're going to visit the Yu family!"
"Okay, Grandma!"
"Yes, sir!"
Lin Li chuckled and pointed at the three of them with her finger before turning around and returning to her master bedroom.
Lin Li returned to her bedroom, went to the bathroom, took a comfortable shower, changed into a fashionable outfit from Hong Kong, and then went to the garden.
As she approached, the maid quickly placed a plate of fresh fruit on the white wrought iron round table in the garden.
Lin Li nodded.
Sitting in a white chair with a backrest next to a round table, eating fruit, enjoying the sea breeze, and gazing at the sea of flowers.
Not long after.
Lin Laosan also changed his clothes and went out.
"Mom, you're here too!"
When Lin Laosan saw Lin Li, he ran a few steps and pulled out the stool next to her to sit down.
"Hmm, you've changed your clothes?"
"It's all changed!"
Lin Laosan was wearing a well-fitting suit, and his hair was neatly combed.
At first glance, he does bear some resemblance to the wealthy young masters in Hong Kong movies.
"This is so different from when you were in Beijing."
"Hehehe! I learned that from Hong Kong movies."
Lin Laosan smiled憨厚ly.
"Mom, the restrooms here are so convenient. They have toilets, shower rooms, and bathtubs."
"Yes, it's more convenient than Beijing."
Lin Li nodded, took a bunch of grapes, and ate them slowly.
"It won't be long before our home is just as convenient. No need to be envious!"
After listening, Lin Laosan nodded.
He also picked up some fruit from the fruit platter and started eating.
Looking at Victoria Harbour in the distance, I couldn't help but exclaim in admiration.
"Isn't it beautiful!"
Looking at the sailboats dotting the harbor, Lin Li narrowed her eyes, ate her fruit, and remained silent.
The two little ones didn't come out for quite a while.
When the two men, dressed in tiny suits, stood awkwardly in front of Lin Li and Lin Laosan, they made the two men burst into laughter.
"Grandma, Uncle is laughing at me!"
When Lin Yao saw his third uncle smile, he blushed and threw himself into Lin Li's arms.
"Your grandma laughed too! All you ever do is tattle on me!"
Lin Laosan gently poked his little head with his finger, sounding annoyed.
Lin Li was so angry that she slapped his mischievous hand away.
“Speak properly, why are you poking Yao Yao?”
When Lin Yao heard Lin Li speak up for him, he turned around and made a face at Lin Laosan.
Lin Laosan had no choice but to pull Lin Hu, who was sitting obediently to the side, into his arms.
"Our Tiger is the one who cares about Uncle Three and doesn't make false accusations."
