"Yaoyao's third DPT vaccine was given at the local health clinic, but there's no record of it here."
Lin Li then remembered that Yao Yao had indeed received the vaccine at the street health center. There were too many people at the epidemic prevention station at the time, so she thought it would be more convenient to get it at the street health center. She didn't expect to forget to transfer the record over.
"What should we do now?"
Lin Li was so anxious that tears were almost coming out of her eyes.
The old archivist sighed: "You need to get a certificate from the local health center proving that your child did indeed receive the vaccine before we can add it to your record."
Lin Li nodded, thanked the old archivist, and hurried to the neighborhood health center.
The neighborhood health clinic is not far from the epidemic prevention station; it is also a small building, but it is more dilapidated than the epidemic prevention station.
There was only one doctor in the clinic, who was busy taking an old lady's blood pressure.
Lin Li explained her purpose, and the doctor put down the blood pressure monitor, rummaged through the drawer for a long time, and found the vaccination record from that year.
"That's right, it was fought right here."
The doctor gave Lin Li a certificate and stamped it with the official seal of the health center.
With the certificate in hand, Lin Li rushed back to the epidemic prevention station without stopping.
Only after reviewing the certificate did the doctor add the record of the third DPT vaccine to Yao Yao's vaccination record.
"Alright," the doctor handed the vaccination record to Lin Li, "Now you're all set. With this, you can go to school in Hong Kong."
Lin Li took the vaccine booklet, too excited to speak, and just kept thanking the doctor.
It was almost noon when I left the epidemic prevention station.
Aunt Wang had already bought the medicine and was waiting at the door.
"How did it go? Is it all done?"
Lin Li nodded and carefully placed the vaccine booklet into the cloth bag.
"It's all done, but it was quite a bumpy ride."
Aunt Wang smiled and said, "Nothing is easy to do, but it's good that it's done. Come on, let's go home and cook for the children."
As the two walked back, sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting dappled shadows on the ground.
Lin Li touched the vaccination record book in the cloth bag and felt much more at ease.
