Chapter 189 Life Goals

12 millimeters.

Xiao Zhang's voice sounded a little weak.

"When the wind speed exceeds 8 meters per second, the actual load will increase by 30%."

Lin Laosan looked up at the window and said, "Yesterday evening I saw the power lines swaying in Xisi. The wind speed at that time was at least 10 meters per second."

Section Chief Zhang's glasses slipped down to the tip of his nose. He stared at the numbers on the report and suddenly slammed his hand on the table.

"No wonder! I was wondering why the power tripped for no reason!"

He turned around and dragged a roll of blueprints out of the metal cabinet, spreading it out on the table with a clatter.

Lin Laosan was still working on something at the edge of the blueprints, his pen writing rapidly on the paper, and a small circuit diagram was drawn next to the calculation formula.

That was a simple protective device he devised during the disaster relief efforts; a few diodes were enough to prevent the circuit from overloading.

"Xiaolin, why don't you come eat with us at the cafeteria tonight?"

Section Chief Zhang handed over an enamel bowl, saying, "Today we have braised pork with radish; the head chef's skills are quite good."

"OK!"

Lin Laosan put away the blueprints, smiled, and walked out with Section Chief Zhang.
