Chapter 354: A Chance at the Police Station

Su Nan walked out of the police station and saw Su Yang and Zhou Rang staring at each other.

"Wife, how is it?" Zhou Rang saw Su Nan coming out and hurriedly went up to ask.

Su Nan's eyes reddened and he shook his head: "He is determined to make Su Yang have a criminal record and won't make any concessions at all."

What! This piece of wood is indeed a piece of wood. It behaves like a piece of wood and is inflexible.

"It's no big deal, it's not worth your tears!" Su Yang said fearfully.

"You know shit! This criminal record will follow you for the rest of your life." Su Nan cursed angrily.

Su Yang actually understood the reason behind this, but he also knew that officials have two mouths, so whatever they say is reasonable.

"Forget it! My wife is still young, don't bother with her. Let's go back and think of a solution." Zhou Rang was afraid that Su Nan would get hurt, so he quickly spoke to comfort him.

Su Yang muttered unconvincedly: "I'm already grown up, why do you still treat me like a child?"

Su Nan and Zhou Rang acted as if they didn't hear anything and continued talking to each other.

"A female police officer in the police station told me that their chief will be back to work soon. We will wait for him here. We can't let Su Yang bear this criminal record no matter what." Su Nan made up his mind and stared at the passing vehicles on the road without blinking.

"That's right!" Su Nanren suddenly screamed, frightening Zhou Rang's heart. He then asked nervously, "Wife, what's wrong?"

"Can you contact your men and call Wang Hei and the drunkard who was rescued by Su Yang to the police station to serve as witnesses for Su Yang, and then call my mother to report that she is safe!" Su Nan wanted to find all the relevant witnesses before the director came back.

"Okay, I'll go right away." Zhou Rang then turned around and looked at Su Yang and instructed, "Take good care of your sister. I'll go to the phone booth across the street and make a call first."

Su Yang nodded reluctantly, agreeing to Zhou Rang's request.

Zhou Rang repeated what Su Nan had just said to his men, then hung up the phone and called Su Nan's home.

The person who answered the phone happened to be Su Nan's mother, Lin Yuemei: "Hello, who is this?"

"Mom, it's me, Zhou Rang. We've already found someone for Yangyang. We need to take care of one more thing now. We'll be home in the evening. Please make some delicious food. And remember not to scold Yangyang anymore, okay?"

Zhou Rang felt that Su Yang's life was not easy either. After all, he had such an outstanding older sister and was always compared to her by his parents. It was inevitable that he would feel a little unbalanced. Moreover, he was at an age when he was prone to rebellion, which made it even easier for him to go against his family.

When I saw him during the winter break a few days ago, Su Yang was a good kid, a man who loved studying and respected his elders. How come he's like this now? He's like a thorn in the flesh. As expected, adolescents are just like the unpredictable weather.

"Good! Good! It's good that you found him. Where did you look for him?" Lin Yuemei asked excitedly.

Zhou Rang thought about it and felt that it would be better not to tell the old man about this matter for the time being.

"Mom, don't worry. We'll tell you after we bring Yangyang back tonight."

The two chatted for a few more minutes before hanging up the phone.

Half an hour later, Wang Hei and others all left the field.

The drunk man today was surprisingly proud. Not only did he not drink, he also cleaned himself up.

Wang Hei walked up to Su Yang and punched him in a friendly manner: "Brother, what's wrong with you? How could you not call me for such a fight? It's a good thing you didn't call me, otherwise we would both be arrested and put in jail, and no one would tell your sister and brother-in-law where you might be?"

Su Yang glared at him and said, "You big mouth, if I had known this, I wouldn't have scolded you as a friend!"

Now, who knows how my parents will criticize me?

Seeing Su Yang's dark face, Wang Hei immediately said with envy: "You really don't know how to appreciate your blessings. If I had such a good sister and brother-in-law, I wouldn't be hanging around on the streets like this."

After listening to Wang Hei's words, Su Yang felt very guilty, but he still felt a lot of pressure in his heart.

At around 5:30 in the afternoon, the three of them finally waited for the director's car. Su Nan stood in front of the car as if he was risking his life.

Zhou Rang and Su Yang were both worried about Su Nan.

The director was immediately startled and slammed on the brakes: "Who is this? What's going on? Is someone trying to scam people in front of the police station?"

Su Nan quickly said, "No, Director, you misunderstood. I have something I would like to ask for your help."

The director was shocked: "Are those who seek justice so arrogant now? They're just swindling people in front of the police station!"

"Tell me, what grievances have you suffered?" the director asked calmly.

Su Nan waved his hand and called Su Yang, Wang Hei, and the drunkard who had been rescued by Su Yang over.

"Chief, this is my brother Su Yang. He offended a group of thugs in order to save this uncle. Just three days ago, those thugs held a grudge against my brother for this incident and were looking for an opportunity to retaliate. He was then arrested by Officer Shen and brought to the police station on charges of provoking trouble..."

After hearing this, the director finally understood that this was a false case.

"Although your brother's circumstances are excusable in this matter, gathering a crowd to fight is indeed a violation of the law. Does your brother have a criminal record at the police station?" the director asked, holding his chin.

Su Nan nodded: "Yes, Chief, my brother is still young, he is not even eighteen years old yet. Please be flexible and erase his criminal record. You can choose another punishment, even if it is a fine, we will accept it!"

"That's a serious statement. Let's just say we'll waive his criminal record. He'll still have to report it during the investigation. Even though he didn't do anything wrong, he did break the law."

The director felt that it was a bit too much to make a mistake for being brave and righteous and still have a criminal record. If this continued, who would do good deeds? So he decided to turn a blind eye to this matter.

Su Nan didn't expect things to go so smoothly, so he stopped a car, found a few witnesses to testify, and settled the matter. This director is really a good person, much better than Chenmu, that piece of wood.

After Su Yang received verbal criticism and education from the director, he also made an oral self-criticism, and he got away with it like this, which even he himself couldn't think of.

On the way back, Su Nan finally figured out what Chen Mu meant when he told him that there was no medicine for regret. She had always thought that Chen Mu must have been so malicious towards her because of Xiao Fangyun's incident, and now it seemed that this accusation was really confirmed.

Su Yang just felt that he was ashamed at the moment. They hadn't seen each other for such a long time. His sister should have become more and more outstanding, but he still looked like an innocent ghost.

Seeing that Su Yang kept his head down and walked forward in silence, Su Nan thought he was still angry with her, so he didn't dare to say anything. The few of them walked back home in silence.
