Chapter 424: He Hasn't Arrived Yet

Soon the new year began and Su Nan's birthday also arrived.

She had thought Zhou Rang would come from Shanghai on December 31st, but he didn't.

On January 1st, Su Nan got up early just to wait for Zhou Rang's call.

As a result, the first person who called Su Nan was not Zhou Rang, which made her feel very disappointed.

Both her own parents and Zhou Rang's parents have sent her birthday wishes, but Zhou Rang has never called her.

Su Nan thought he must have gone to buy a plane ticket. After all, it was New Year's Day and there must be a lot of people buying tickets. If he didn't go out early, he probably wouldn't be able to queue up.

Su Nan kept comforting herself like this until half past twelve in the afternoon, when she knew Zhou Rang would definitely not come.

Su Nan sat in the "rich" clothing store feeling a little dejected. She wanted to call Zhou Rang and ask what was going on, but she couldn't swallow this anger in her heart.

Su Nan wiped the tears from her face with a look of grievance and cursed him angrily: "Damn you bastard, what on earth are you busy with? It's my birthday today, and you're so excessive that you can't even bear to call me."

Su Yang had just walked to the first floor when he heard Su Nan cursing. He thought: It's over, it's completely over now. The image of my brother-in-law and sister must have plummeted. I really don't know what he is so busy about that he even forgot his wife's birthday.

But fortunately, she still has her precious younger brother and her roommate.

It turned out that Sun Yue had contacted Su Yang early in the morning and had already agreed to give Su Nan a big surprise.

Wang Hei was very happy to see his good brother coming to see Su Nan. He punched Su Yang on the shoulder, not too hard or too lightly. "Hey, brother, you're finally here. I haven't seen you for a long time. I missed you so much."

After hearing what Wang Hei said, Su Yang almost vomited blood: What this guy said is a bit too corny. If he were a girl, maybe he could accept it.

But Wang Hei is a grown man, and saying such words only makes him feel nauseous.

"Hey buddy, it's been so long since we last met. Why are you suddenly acting like a sissy?" Su Yang teased him nonchalantly for a moment before lowering his voice and asking, "What's my sister doing upstairs? I hear she's making quite a commotion in her room."

Wang Hei glanced upstairs, shook his head helplessly, and sighed, "I don't know what's wrong with my beautiful sister these days. She's always inexplicably irritable, and when she gets angry, she either scolds people or throws things."

After listening to Wang Hei's words, Su Yang pulled him to a small corner, whispered to him for a few words, and then told him: "Brother, you must not forget this important matter. I'm going upstairs to see my sister first."

Wang Hei nodded, said nothing, and went to take care of business.

This Brother Zhou is really too much. How could he not remember the beautiful sister’s birthday?

No wonder the beautiful sister has been in a bad mood these days. If I were her, I would have hidden myself away and cried a long time ago.

When Su Nan heard Su Yang's voice, she hurriedly wiped the tears from her face and opened the door: "You little brat, you know it's your sister's birthday today, why didn't you call me this morning?"

Su Yang said with a playful smile: "Sister, you know me best. I have been an honest child since I was young. I don't like those nonsense things. It's your birthday tomorrow, let's go out and play."

An Yu: Even if your brother-in-law is not happy, you can't take it out on me, your own brother. I'm afraid it's a bit unfair to me.

The brother and sister started to play around upstairs. Su Nan didn't want to go out at all, but Su Yang still insisted on taking Su Nan to the street for the sake of the plan.

In the end, Su Nan couldn't resist Su Yang and had to agree to his request and go out with him.

As soon as Wang Hei saw the brother and sister leave, he immediately went to the street to buy what Sun Yue needed. They planned to help Su Nan have a very memorable birthday in the store.

Because today was New Year's Day, Su Nan gave all the employees in the store a day off.

So now the whole store is empty except for Wang Hei, who is alone.

At 1:30 in the afternoon, Sun Yue brought a few of her sisters who she got along well with to Su Nan's store to set up the venue.

Su Yang took Su Nan out for a walk for nearly three hours, and it was already getting dark. Su Yang looked at his watch and it was already past 10 p.m. He felt that it was about time, and Sun Yue was probably ready.

"Sister, let's go back. It's really too cold outside. Look, it's almost dark."

Su Nan nodded, feeling very depressed. Without saying a word, he walked silently towards the store.

The two of them had just walked to the door of the store when Su Yang felt something was wrong. Could it be that woman Sun Yue was playing a trick on him?

The store was dark and gloomy, and it didn't look like anyone had decorated it.

Just as he was thinking about how to comfort Su Nan, as soon as Su Nan stepped into the store, all the lights in the store lit up. Then Sun Yue slowly walked towards Su Nan holding a huge cake, and everyone sang the cheerful Happy Birthday song.

Su Yang's worries were finally put at ease. This Sun Yue was really reliable. My sister was so lucky to have such a friend.

"Nannan, happy birthday to you." After Sun Yue gave Su Nan his blessing, he placed the cake full of candles on the table.

"Hello, Su Nan. We are friends of Sun Yue. We came here specially to warm you up. My name is Lv Weiwei. Nice to meet you." Sun Yue's sisters came forward to greet Su Nan and introduced themselves.

Su Nan looked at the familiar and unfamiliar faces in front of him, tears welling up in his eyes with excitement.

"Beautiful sister, I only found out it was your birthday at noon yesterday, so I didn't have time to prepare a gift for you. However, I will cook all the dishes for dinner today. Come and try them. If you like them, I will cook them for you often in the future."

Wang Hei saw that everyone had prepared exquisite gifts for Su Nan, but he hadn't prepared anything. He could only scratch his head and apologize to Su Nan embarrassedly.

Su Nan had always treated Wang Hei like his own younger brother. Seeing him look so embarrassed, she felt a pang of heartache. She then rubbed his head and said, "Who said you didn't prepare a gift for your sister? Isn't this huge table of food the best gift for your sister?"

Just when a few people were chatting and laughing, He Wei came late with a cake and came to celebrate Su Nan's birthday. Everyone looked at her in shock. It seemed that they had never told her about this. Where did she hear it from?
