On the first day of school for Qin Ying, Fu Hanzhou waited for her at home and made a special trip to see her off.
The school gate is busy early in the morning as new students are enrolled.
The car stopped at the school gate, and before I got out, I could already hear the "Athletes' March" playing on the campus radio.
There was a big red banner at the school gate:
"Warmly welcome the Class of 1980! The path of medicine will benefit the world and the legacy of medical care will be passed on forever."
When Qin Ying got out of the car, the school gate was already crowded with people.
Feeling the atmosphere at the moment, Qin Ying's mood was also aroused, as if she had returned to the time when she was a freshman in college.
Fu Hanzhou closed the car door behind her, picked up the luggage with one hand, placed the other hand on her lower back, and said in a gentle tone:
"Let's go and report first."
"Um."
Qin Ying tidied her clothes, put on her canvas bag, and walked towards the school gate.
Fu Hanzhou looked around as he walked, and soon found the Department of Clinical Medicine among a row of long tables for welcoming new students.
He walked over with Qin Ying, and before they got close, he saw Wei Zhuolan wearing a white shirt and black pants. He had a tall and handsome figure and was smiling and talking to several freshmen.
Noticing the movement here, Wei Zhuolan looked over, his gaze moving back and forth between Qin Ying and Fu Hanzhou.
There was a flash of surprise and confusion in his eyes. He didn't expect Fu Hanzhou to come and see her off in person.
Fu Hanzhou keenly caught Wei Zhuolan's gaze and calmly put his arm around Qin Ying's shoulders:
"Over there!"
"Qin Ying!"
Wei Zhuolan walked quickly towards him from the crowd, not knowing whether he was being sincere or intentional:
"What a coincidence! I'm the counselor for Class 1, 1980, of the Clinical Department. You can always contact me if you have any questions at school."
When he said this, his eyes passed inconspicuously across Fu Hanzhou's hand holding Qin Ying. His brows furrowed slightly, and there was a hint of displeasure in his eyes.
Qin Ying thought, what a coincidence, she is also in this class.
Before he could open his mouth, he heard Fu Hanzhou sneer with the corners of his mouth curled:
"Thank you for your concern, Teacher Wei. However, I will take care of Yingying's affairs myself. As a counselor, Teacher Wei, you should pay more attention to your students' studies."
Wei Zhuolan nodded slightly, still maintaining a polite smile on his face, but his eyes revealed an aggressive aura:
"Captain Fu, I'm just fulfilling my responsibilities as a teacher. Qin Ying is an excellent student, and I don't want her to have any academic problems."
Qin Ying stood between them somewhat awkwardly, and neither of them gave in to the other's argument.
There was obvious jealousy and hostility in Fu Hanzhou's words. I thought, it's over, Fu Hanzhou is really going to become a jealous person in the future.
She looked at Wei Zhuolan and said politely and respectfully:
"Teacher Wei, I didn't expect you to be our class counselor. Please take care of me in the future."
Wei Zhuolan's eyes softened as he looked at her:
"Don't be so polite. Just treat me as a friend at school. Captain Fu is very busy with official duties. If there is anything I can't take care of, I'm happy to help."
Fu Hanzhou's eyes turned cold, and he was about to lose his temper when Qin Ying tugged at his clothes from behind. He suppressed his anger and held Qin Ying's hand tighter:
"I appreciate Teacher Wei's kindness. With me here, all my lover's problems can be solved."
Hearing Fu Hanzhou repeatedly saying "my love", Wei Zhuolan looked at Qin Ying deeply:
"Register first."
His eyes swept over the luggage in Fu Hanzhou's hand, and a hint of understanding flashed in his eyes:
"Assign us another dormitory. You want to live on campus, right? It's more convenient."
"Well, thank you, Teacher Wei."
After Qin Ying finished registering, Wei Zhuolan handed her a key and said,
"You go first, remember to find me if you have anything."
After saying that, he started to greet other students.
Qin Ying and Fu Hanzhou left the reception area, and Fu Hanzhou's face remained gloomy.
"I knew this guy had bad intentions. He came here specifically to manage your class. Stay away from him. Do you hear me?"
Qin Ying didn't want to upset him, so she nodded obediently:
"Know."
After a pause, she felt that she had to say something in advance to avoid misunderstandings in the future, so she quickly said:
"I was also surprised that he would be my counselor. I'm afraid we'll see each other often in the future."
Fu Hanzhou understood what she meant, and his next words were extremely forceful and filled with obvious displeasure:
"He's miscalculated. In my defense zone, not even a mosquito can get close to me. With me here, he has no chance and can't make any waves."
Wei Zhuolan watched the two of them walk away, raised his head from the crowd and looked over, thinking in his heart:
Fu Hanzhou is just relying on the military marriage to restrain Qin Ying. If he is really confident, why does he have to act so deliberately all the time? He is still not confident. Besides, Qin Ying lives on campus, which is an opportunity for him, but for Fu Hanzhou... it is hard to say.
After a while, Fu Hanzhou came to the dormitory building with Qin Ying, carrying the luggage.
When I opened the dormitory door, I saw several classmates making their beds.
When they saw them come in, they greeted each other warmly.
Except for Qin Ying who is from Yancheng, there is one person from this province, and the rest are from other provinces.
Qin Ying is the youngest here.
The college entrance examination had just been resumed at this time, and students of varying ages were taking it.
Despite the age difference, Qin Ying quickly became familiar with them after a few words.
Fu Hanzhou was standing by her side, helping her organize her things, make the bed, and place her luggage.
Also, because he was handsome and looked heroic in his well-ironed military uniform, several relatively younger girls in the dormitory were very curious about him.
Han Dongmei, with her ponytail tied in a ponytail, looked at Fu Hanzhou with sparkling eyes, her eyes were filled with unconcealable admiration:
