Fu Hanzhou's expression did not change at all, but his hands under his military uniform were clenched tightly.
"I thank Teacher Wei for his care on Yingying's behalf. However, this 'wall' of mine is not only unbreakable, but will also shatter anyone who crosses it."
I thought the conversation was over, but they started to argue again.
Han Dongmei had just poured water into an enamel pot to drink, but the atmosphere in the dormitory caused the pot in her hand to drop to the ground with a clang, and she didn't even notice the boiling water splashing around her feet.
The whole dormitory was silent. Zhou Lina was about to play the accordion. Just as she took the organ in her hands, her fingers were still hovering above the keys of the organ, and suddenly they froze into an arc.
The girls sitting on the upper bunks had a wide field of vision, so they exchanged glances and conveyed information.
"Um...I, I'll go get some water!"
The first person to break the silence was the girl sleeping at the door. She hurriedly grabbed the thermos and rushed out.
As soon as she left, the rest of the people looked at each other. Han Dongmei bit her lip and muttered softly:
"What's going on today? The atmosphere is even scarier than the instructor's lecture..."
Wei Zhuolan straightened his shirt, the smile on his lips gradually disappeared, and a trace of embarrassment flashed in his eyes.
He took a deep look at Qin Ying who was hiding behind Fu Hanzhou, turned around and slammed the door.
The girls in the dormitory looked at each other in confusion. There seemed to be something unusual between Qin Ying's lover and Teacher Wei.
But after Teacher Wei left, they didn't say anything else.
Fu Hanzhou retracted his gaze, his expression relaxed, and he turned to look at Qin Ying, his tone gentle:
"Don't worry, I'm here."
Now that the decision had been made, Qin Ying said goodbye to her roommates and prepared to go home.
After leaving the school gate and sitting in the car, Qin Ying's mood for going home was completely different from when she came.
Sitting in the passenger seat, she felt a little uncomfortable. She had just promised Wei Zhuolan, and now Fu Hanzhou's face looked even worse.
She secretly glanced at his profile several times and felt that he was suppressing his emotions.
She unconsciously clutched the strap of her schoolbag, thinking about how to explain.
Before I could think of what to say, I heard Fu Hanzhou's cold voice:
"Why did you agree?"
He gritted his teeth and looked ahead without looking at Qin Ying:
"You clearly know what Wei Zhuolan is thinking..."
Seeing Qin Ying didn't say anything, Fu Hanzhou turned his head and glanced at her:
"He's been testing you time and again, and you're still trying to follow his lead?"
Qin Ying was also a little helpless. All her roommates were in high spirits just now. She considered it over and over again and had no choice but to agree.
"I know you don't like what he arranged, but I don't have a choice."
She turned her face away, feeling a little annoyed. It wasn't because of Fu Hanzhou's questioning, but because she was annoyed at how Wei Zhuolan had become like this?
What attracted him to her?
He sighed and continued:
"My roommate started to make trouble, and he used group work to pressure me... He's a counselor, and I can't just refute him in front of everyone."
"Face? What face do you need to give him? He has bad intentions, and you still want to put yourself in a difficult position?"
After hearing her reasons, Fu Hanzhou, still trying to save Wei Zhuolan's face, had an undercurrent in his dark eyes, and his tone became even more intense.
Listening to Fu Hanzhou's blame, Qin Ying felt a little aggrieved. Is this what she wanted?
The tone also began to get irritable:
"Fu Hanzhou, I'm not a three-year-old child. My roommates are watching me. Do you think I should refuse in public?"
Sensing her emotions, Fu Hanzhou slowed down his tone, stretched out a hand, pulled her hand over and held it:
"I'm not blaming you. I'm just worried. He's pressing you, using group work as an excuse. He's clearly trying to keep you trapped under his nose."
He sighed angrily:
"I was just too angry. We only found out he was your counselor when we registered today. He didn't make these arrangements today on the spur of the moment. If you hadn't agreed, your classmates would have isolated you. But you agreed, and that's exactly what he wanted."
"He used the excuse that you were the top scorer in the college entrance exam and could make money, but he wasn't interested in your ability, he was interested in you... Now he finally has a chance to get close to you."
The more Fu Hanzhou spoke, the more jealous he became.
Qin Ying listened silently. She knew everything Fu Hanzhou said, and that was why she agreed. She quickly comforted him:
"I know my limits and can handle it."
"I trust you. Tell me immediately if anything seems wrong."
He stroked the back of her hand and snorted softly:
"You're even threatening to tear down my wall, dreaming of usurping my throne. How could Wei Zhongchao have produced such a sentimental person?"
Fu Hanzhou shook his head, but his eyes were a little gloomy.
Qin Ying was silent for a moment, looking out the window:
"Let's take it one step at a time. I'm going there to study, nothing else matters."
Fu Hanzhou is strong and Wei Zhuolan is persistent, which is a bit of a headache.
She might be busy after tomorrow, so she didn't go home directly. Instead, she went to the publishing house first. She would talk to Xie Fangyuan later and she might not have time to take care of the store these days.
Fu Hanzhou sent her to the publishing house, and on the way back to the army, he was filled with unhappiness.
Wei Zhuolan is now the counselor and Qin Ying is the class monitor. He just made it very clear that he wants Qin Ying to assist him in managing daily work.
He couldn't give him this chance.
We have to think of a way.
He always had a feeling that Qin Ying was out of his grasp, and now that Wei Zhuolan was so close to him, the more he thought about it, the more uneasy he felt.
When he arrived at the army, the first thing Fu Hanzhou did was to call Qin Ying.
He wanted to know what time she got off work.
Qin Ying had just sat down in the publishing house when she received Fu Hanzhou's call.
