As soon as Qin Ying finished speaking, the classroom fell silent. After a few seconds, someone gasped, and several girls gathered together and whispered:
"No wonder she was chosen... I heard that this year's top scorer in the college entrance exam is from our medical school, but I didn't expect it to be the class monitor!"
The discussion slowly faded, covering up the previous doubts:
"I have no objection to the top scorer in the college entrance examination representing the freshmen!"

There was a discussion in the classroom for a while, and the voices gradually died down.

From a distance, she saw a military green jeep parked in front of the school gate. A familiar figure was leaning against the car, a cigarette flickering between his fingers, and two buttons of his military uniform collar were casually open. It was Fu Hanzhou.

"You must be tired, get in the car and go home."
As he spoke, he gently put his arm around her shoulders and walked towards the jeep.
Qin Ying leaned on him, feeling the warmth coming from him, and the fatigue in her heart seemed to be relieved a lot.
Fu Hanzhou put his schoolbag in the car, his eyes swept across the few pages of paper in her hand, his gaze locked tightly on her, his Adam's apple rolling:
"Did Wei Zhuolan... give you any trouble today?"
Qin Ying shook her head gently, the breeze swirling the hair around her ears. Thinking of Wei Zhuolan's words and actions, she began to feel irritated again, her eyes falling to the side:
"Just talked about some activities arrangements, nothing important."
She shook the pages in her hand:
"This is the program for each class. There will also be a ballroom dance, and the candidates still need to be screened."
Fu Hanzhou took the document but did not open it. Instead, he placed it on the hood of the car. His eyes never left Qin Ying's face.
"If he bothers you again, be sure to tell me."
Qin Ying nodded and was about to get in the car, but she saw Fu Hanzhou still blocking the door:
"Next time...when he comes to talk to you about work, remember to ask Zhou Lina and Han Dongmei to come along."
He paused, his eyes falling on her red lips:
"There are more people, and they can help you with activities."
Qin Ying was amused by his deliberately natural tone, and raised her eyes to meet his deep eyes.

"Captain Fu, are you asking me to find two bodyguards?"

Fu Hanzhou didn't care about her tone. He suddenly grabbed her wrist, pulled her closer, and said seriously:

His thumb rubbed the skin of her wrist:
"I hope I can stop him."
As he spoke, he reached out to open the car door and motioned for her to get in.
Qin Ying was about to get in the car when a clear bicycle bell rang from far away, accompanied by a clear female voice:
"Hanzhou!"
They both looked back and saw Gu Ping'an riding a bicycle and stopped in front of them.
She was wearing a well-tailored military uniform with the collar of her white shirt slightly open, making her look particularly energetic.
Looking at Fu Hanzhou, a smile appeared on his face.
"Hanzhou, why are you here?"
Before Fu Hanzhou could speak, Gu Pingan's eyes suddenly caught sight of Qin Ying behind him. He glanced at her and the smile on his lips froze.
"You are here to pick up Qin Ying."
Fu Hanzhou's face was expressionless, and his tone was calm but distant:
"Well, come and take her home."
Gu Ping'an's eyes darkened, but soon returned to normal. She looked at Qin Ying with a hint of subtle hostility in her eyes:
"Qin Ying, this military-civilian friendship event is very important. I heard that you are the freshman representative. You must perform well. Don't make any mistakes and let everyone laugh at you."
Fu Hanzhou frowned slightly and looked at Gu Pingan with cold eyes:
"Ping'an, you've only just been discharged from the hospital after your burns. The art troupe's performance this time is very important, and your partner has been waiting for you, unable to rehearse. Instead of worrying about others, why not focus on your own work first? Don't let your own influence affect the performance of the entire show."
