A gentle smile appeared in the corners of her eyes:
"Wait a moment. I can't let you see a girl with a sweat shirt on her head."
After the footsteps completely disappeared at the corner of the stairs, Wei Zhuolan slowly sat down with a faint smile on his face, his fingers unconsciously stroking the brass buckle on the briefcase.
The dusk shone in through the window, cutting a line of light and dark on his face. No one saw that the corner of his lips, hidden in the shadow, was curling up in an arc of determination.
When Xu Jinshu arrived at Fu Hanting's bedroom door, he just raised his hand to knock on his daughter's door when he heard the clinking sound of clothes hangers coming from inside.

Fu Hanting's ears turned red, and she quickly stuffed her clothes back into the closet:
"mom!"
Xu Jinshu walked in and gently closed the door:
"Wei Zhuolan stared at the direction of your room three times before he left. Even your father couldn't tell that something was wrong."
Fu Hanting turned around suddenly, holding another brand new shirt that she had taken out of the closet.
The color has faded a lot.
The pearl hairpin on her head, tucked into her black hair, shone with a warm glow under the incandescent light, making her usually dull features look more lively.
On the dressing table, the Red Plum brand lipstick that I was always reluctant to use was half unscrewed.
